They still didn’t describe what the process is after they spot the kid on top the train…..are they stopping the train in its tracks? What are they doing to get that kid off the top of the train and what are they doing to physically prevent the kids from getting on top the trains? The drone is good for having evidence of what the kids are doing but other than that, what’s the other preventative measure that are being put in place to stop it all together?
You wanna stop it???? Put the widest steel I-beams available every so often along the elevated portions of these lines - the trains will have a max. clearance of eight inches for ALL of them .. these “surfers” will not be able to miraculously leapfrog them and land safely and they will not fit under them, I don’t care how proned out they are
The city didnt fail these kids, their parents did, My tax dollars surely shouldnt be spent to fix stupid. Tired of footing the bill for all these failed nypd initiatives. The 400lb r2d2 robot, the robodog, the subway weapons scanning devices….all failures… Why do you even have to explain to people why subway surfing is bad for their health?

Bet you end up having a larger problem there's this weird little thing about people the second you tell them not to do something they go out and do it just to prove you're not the boss of them and of all the kids you can go talk to in the school don't do anything about it until you open your mouth and create a bigger problem stop trying to control people to do the right thing when you give them the choice living in the city of buildings they don't have a lot of fun things to do and you just pointed one out to them when will you learn

Kids need sumpin to do other than playing on trains. NYC should have libraries, museums, parks, gardens and sumpin sumpin for all ages.
