I am 80 and bought a Honda Monkey in 2023 and got my endorsement. The additions made. T-Rex windshield, center stand, rear rack and a top box and rear view mirror extenders. Also installed Man in the Box $120 rear shocks. This bike is just right being light and for the ridding where I live and enjoy every ride. Having fun and get between 114 mpg and 144 mpg, cruise level ground no wind is an easy 50 mph. Enjoyed your video. Get tired of the not much power comments and it is slow. It is only 9.5 hp and people knew that when it was bought so why the complaining. Hear this in every video of the bike. Want faster get a more powerful bike. Like you video
I love seeing you doing the Monkey swerve. I do the same on my 2019 (yellow) Monkey. I think it makes you much more visible but I honestly can't help myself, it's too fun. I agree about the excitement taking it home. I feel bad that I wasn't as excited picking up my 2023 CRF Rally but that says more about the Monkey. Good luck going to the store without someone stopping you to ask about it.
Congrats with your new monkey. I also did change my cb 500 for a monkey a few month ago. Already changed the exhaust, Tacometer & mounted some mirror extenders :D. Gotta love those little bikes.
I love my Monkey. Bought it 6 months ago and it's probably the most fun bike I've owned in my life. I've had quite a few. It's not exhilarating fun, but it more like, weeeeeee!
@IronBornRider Yeah I haven't found anyone here in Tacoma either. But I also don't use Facebook so that makes it hard. If I could find a little From/Monkey track day group, that'd be awesome 😎
@@IronBornRider Oh shoot, I forgot about the twisties. I'll just take the straight roads to get where we're going, and wait a few days :D Yeah, you should be able to ride all winter long on that thing... or, you know, a touring bike like I keep suggesting :D
@@lg740xx I took a risk for sure. Not that I would advise it but I figured it was close enough to me that the risk was worth it. But it wasn’t insured or plated

100% agree. More people should get them, I need to find others in my area who ride mini motos so I can do group rides
