Range Rover Fan and Fan Shroud Removal (L322, M62 V8)

- Removing the fan and fan shroud is a common step whenever any work is done on the front of the m62 BMW V8 engine (such as swapping an accessory belt or servicing the cooling system).
We take a step-by-step approach at removing and installing the fan and the found shroud on a 2003 Range Rover - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
Heads up: It was a 32mm for the 03 RR HSE.
The kit works but is a pain to grab water pump nuts. Be careful of plastic pulleys. Do not pry on lock bar too hard.

Are you sure you have the M62 V8? I thought ‘05 was when they switched to the jag motor?
Sadly, I never did change the alternator, so I’m not sure how to get there. I would try Range Rover or even bmw 5 series forums (as they had the same motor).
Also on the Range rover l322 when taking the fan out which direction do i turn to get the fan out, do i turn to the left which is my passenger sade or ti the right which is the driverside.. i need help bad, im trying to get in there to replace my alternation for this vehicle.
I have the same exact engine and trying to get the alternator is a complete drain, i need help bad please.....
Is this the same process for the 2006 Range Rover 4.4 with Jag engine?
For a supercharged Range Rover engine do u turn the nut for the fan counter clockwise?

Hey man, does it use a visco fan or electricfan or both of them ?
The BMW engined range rovers use a viscous fan for the primary cooling, there might be an electric one for the AC, I can’t remember.
