11:33 as a 2018 Civic owner, I use this feature all the time when it’s hot outside.
15:36 I can easily fit my 32oz Hydroflask in the center console’s cup holder. The space is super practical
for this particular trim, you should have mentioned the audio system and how it sounds & sirus. Also premium gas is not a 100% requirement. Yes its recommended but you can work it, with regular. small pointer, seat heaters in the front and rear
I got a sport touring with the manual. Love the car. Trust me the 6 speed makes the driving experience way more enjoyable
Did you saw any oil dilution?
@@imawesome5367 I’m 38,00km in and I only have this past oil change. The dilution old occurs during really cold starts, so m oil change after winter has some fuel in it but not a lot. Every other change hasn’t had any
Ready to lvl up? 🏍
I dont doubt that
Not in traffic at a major city
@RoadsUntraveled I have a 2020 Sport Touring Hatch in Blue I love it... I also have a e92 N54 MT for the weekend. You did a great review I know it is not an exciting car to review but honestly, it is a tough daily to beat. With adaptive cruise and lane-keep my drive to work is peaceful and I average 40 mpg(5.5L/100) oh highway 35 city. The brake hold feature is so nice I hate being in other cars and having my foot on the brake at a red light. It has tons of storage and looks pretty good from the front. All around pretty much a perfect car. Just missing a heated steering wheel.
love and agree with your review! i have the exact model and it has been a blast to drive, but the infotainment screen (as well as the cameras) should have been of much better quality.
I have the ‘19 sport model in manual. It’s fun to drive without breaking the bank on gas or insurance. Would have loved to opt for an si trim, but it does the job.
Just bought a civic sport in red and I love it 🥰
I've got a 2 liter NA civic. Great car but if you live in Colorado like I do get the turbo, the engine sounds like its struggling to take in air at high altitude. But when I take it to sea level it performs better
Im confused, does turbo performs better on lower altitude? Why would u recommend turbo for high altitudes like colorado?
Really well done review. Thanks for helping me decide on whether to get this car. I am leaning more towards the '20 GTI SE.
The VW is lower profile, but more powerful. And you probably won’t attract police attention nearly as much. Both are reliable, and packed with features, but if you want to win the beauty contest, the Honda Sport Touring is the way to go..
Civic Si competes with the GTI not this
@@quietlightning4063 Police attraction on a Honda?
@@marsan7291 the sport touring looks great
Clicking the unlock button and holding it down is not really unique. I have a 2008 Toyota Alphard and when I hit the unlock button it unlocks the vehicle and rolls all the windows down. If I want to lock and roll them back up I just hold the lock button down and it rolls the windows back up . You should try just holding the lock button down instead of clicking it twice to see if it just might roll the windows up I know you said it don't work but sometimes it's all about learning the sequence the key has.
You have to feed that 1.5 turbo premium.. and if you have the turbocharger adjusted, you really need the STP octane booster to keep things smooth.
I bought the sport coupe only downside is they didn’t put the 1.5T in it so I’m stuck with the 2.0 but after half a year of ownership it’s the best decision I made coming from the German counterpart
Just bought a Civic 6 speed and I love it
Great Review. I am waiting the 2022 to get it
I upgraded from a 09 fit, and the fit holds more, but the civic if driven Cas, does better mileage
should have got an si to test. I love my 18 si sedan.
Volume. Have a 19. Mountain bike and 3 ppl inside with our gear. It fits.
Manual transmission < Stop N' Go traffic
Yeah it do rattle. Videos have talked about the Civic having some rattles, and mine does in the door panel trim. Kind of a shame because it's such a nice looking seemingly well put together package. I'm going to have the dealer to try to knock that rattle out. They don't seem very adept at such work but I will give it a try. I have the 2020 sport w/the CVT what a great driving, handling, braking package. Love the car love the mileage just need to knock that rattle out.
no rattle for me (sport touring)
Hey, I want to buy the civic sport plus (that's the name for the sport touring here in Germany) the car I drove for the past 5 years was a regular small car and I've sat in a civic the other day. Seats are really comfortable but for me I'm 1.98m tall what should be like 6'3 or 6'4 and to compare the civic to my old car the big thing is that I can't really see the hood from my driving position and I've wanted to know is it a big downside or is it just in the first weeks to adjust to that and after that its fine?
Sorry for my not perfect English 😅
It's a proper CVT.
When in sport mode do you have to use the paddle shifters, or can you just leave them alone? Will leaving them alone in sport mode do any damage to the engine?
Of course you can leave them alone! It's an auto :) You won't have to worry about a thing
Does the hatchback model came with a 2.0 engine?
YellowFlash yeah. The Type R
At the dealership they told me the sport didn’t come in manual so I got the Si 😂
The dealerships are the biggest enemy of manuals, unfortunately you settled too easily. The nearest dealership to me with a manual and 2.0 naturally aspirated engine is an hour away, but I'll either get that or nothing.
I fucking love this car!!!!!
Hey bro, hey brothers, how are you? Could someone help me with a question: What Automotive Technician courses can I take in Canada (maybe Ontario) as an immigrant? Or did we grow up in the automotive field just working? Thank you so much. +1 subscriber!
now you need to drive a FK8!!!!
Still dislike Honda's fetish w/ over-styling their cars. Primarily the rear bumpers. Still a nice looking car though. Would 100% get it in a manual though. Cheaper & more fun w/ more torque... Win, WIn, WIn.
I like them a lot
Thanks for watching!
i want a sports touring so bad on god
CVTs are 🗑
Definitely not as fun as a manual :-P
This Civic Sport Touring ... would be a blast ... with 4X4 ... bigger wheels ... & 180-300 mm variable ground clearance. It would be a super-affordable Urus. 🥳
Have fun with the oil dilution.
Oil dilution was fixed for 2019 models and up as they say....
Also don't do very short trips
Never had that issue.
Like American cars do have the same issue🤣🤣
Wish I was first on a cool car lol
Haha we have quite the variety of vehicles coming up, so stay tuned 😛
