Petibon and Baroque music!! This is as about as close to perfection that you can get.The CD is one of the finest collections.Lascia? Beautiful,depth of emotion,clarity of voice,not overdone like most others you have heard.
She is extremely fun to watch and hear!
I love this... Still don't know, however, which I like best: Patricia's rendering of the music she sings (her voice and 'performance', let's say), or the woman herself- whom I find so extremely charming and sweet !

Sure, the breathing control on the top even better than originally supposed to be (though, I'm not sure if Handel put the breath marks in his scores like Vivaldi did)

the vocal mics:
there are 3 MKH50, left and right ones with attenuated high frequencies because she moves a lot (so the center MKH50 stabilizes her in the Stereo image)
and 2 MKE212 blm mics below her (mixed left and right)
the TLM170s were not used in the mix, i think.
I can´t see the mikes below her! :/

Petibon is fantastic, but does suffer one disadvantage. So used is my wife to female voices being sung by relatively unattractive persons on productions I show her that she asked whether someone lip synched her Les Indes Galantes.
