@@pennytrui1149 it actually is, it was a ur in that selection box. But that's generally really expensive, so most people don't have it or use it.
It's supposed to negate any effect that moves a card in the gy to any other place; cards cannot be banished from the gy. Grave keeper monsters are exempt from this effect, though.
That's why I always run 3 Twin twisters

No it didn't watch it again Joey SURVIVED Ra and was Going to attack with Gearfried but then Passed out so really not even a God Card can beat Joey
Chin Yang Winged Dragon of Ra did defeat Joey. He passed out because of the damage he took from the God card. Even though he toughed it out for some time, his body and soul couldn't stand the damage they took from the attack.
P.S: This was also one of my favourite scenes in the sub version, where even Kaiba showed respect for Joey, yet it was removed from the dub.

Ishizu is legit my fav character from the main series. She’s just so composed but cool at the same time. Glad to see Konami still gives her some love

@@lordgrape5015 Fair enough....then you might like 'Yugioh Arc-V' some, the ending had much to be desired, but the characters weren't afraid to take a non-card game related answer to some of the problems they encountered.

I was smiling the entire duel. Hearing these voices and the actors describe every move just brought pure joy to me after seeing the original dub decades ago. It was like watching an episode.

KINGD353 Marik basically did the G rated equivalent of shooting the other guy when you’re about to lose.
Funnily enough Odian actually did better against Joey than Marik did. He probably would have won if Marik hadn’t made him summon Fake Ra.
Other than that, all of joey’s main loses are to Yugi (which let’s be real we all know was coming), Kaiba (same as Yugi), that Rare hunter guy (the guy turn oned Exodia, you can’t counter that), Mai during the Orimacalcolalos thingy (not a real loss, Joey was basically dead on his feet at that point and passed out), and that pink haired guy nobody remembers (actual legitimate loss, Joey got completely outplayed).
@@KINGD353 Marik isn't supposed to be better than Ishizu. In fact, we only know for sure that Ishizu had a winning streak against Marik and that now the evil spirit thinks that she is no match to him, but he thought the same thing about Joey. As a matter of fact, Odion performed way better against Joey, Ishizu only lost to Kaiba cause he freakin changed destiny and Marik was getting slammed by Mai without Ra. Ishizu and Odion are much better duelists than Marik.

As a Gravekeeper’s player who has played the deck for 8 years, I appreciated this duel (although I’d be more of a fan for Marik). The voice actors were awesome and were into the crowd. I could tell they were off script a few times to make it more fun like when Joey said you jinxed me to the crowd. I was just very disappointed with how they handled their time for signing. Felt like there was no time and the lines were very long and so many people got cut off.

I think Joey constantly clashing against Ishizu's facedowns that nuked his field and he kept coming back was outright embarassing, haha. Had he instead summoned the XYZ Red eyes monster, whose effects (immunity to card destruction, deals 500 burn damage each time the opponent activates a card effect, can removed one XYZ material to special summon a level 7 Red Eyes monster from the grave) would pave the way to victory right there and then.

Honestly, if there's one duel I'd like to see happen through a live duel, it's Wayne Grayson with Joey Wheeler vs Matthew Charles as Jaden Yuki. A warrior on warrior deck. I think it would end up as a close duel for either win.

See this is why I hated Bonds Beyond Time. We got no time seeing the characters react with one another's friends and world's. They just throw them together and started the climax. How cool could it have been if Yugi went to the distant future and teamed up with Jack to duel one of the main villains underlings. Meanwhile Yusei went to duel academy and teamed up with Zane to duel another and Jaden teamed up with Joey to duel a third. After all the tag team duels are over against the subordinates then the main characters meet and duel the villain. I mean part of the fun of crossovers is the characters exploring each other's world's.
The cool thing about this duel is folks forget Obelisk is originally Ishizu card. For one episode she gives Obelisk to Kaiba to use in the Battle City tournament. He was suppose to return the card back to her after the tournament, but Kaiba wanted to collect all three God cards. That's kind of cool that the voice actor of Ishizo was able to use it. Also that combo with Retro and Red Eyes Alt was too nutty man 😤🔥. I love Red Eyes archetype because you can do combos on the low. Man if we get Alexis brother vs Joey I think I go bananas 😑😤. But I agree with folks. Can't see why the voice actor of Joey never win duels for this special events 😒. We just need to see at least one duel of Joey swarming the field like crazy and summoning monsters from the Extra deck like crazy and he should do it one Kaiba. Want to see Joey and Kaiba go off with the spice 🔥
I would so love joey to get a win at one if these things. Everything is be stacked against him tho, ishizu could see in the future and show he never beats kiaba
another theme in joey's duels is the fact he always gets crazy card advantage at least once.

They still got to play the Yugi vs Joey card, as 2016 they did Yugi vs Kaiba. I'm hoping for Yugi vs Joey he manages to pull off the win, especially if Joey summons Red Eyes Black Flare Metal Dragon, the XYZ monster with a very nasty burn effect.

Honestly I wished Joey won this duel. The comeback was real and this duel was really fun. Can’t wait for red-eyes alternative to come out.

Demetrius Shuler she pulled out the god card what do you expect. Honestly though Joey lost every single time whenever there is a live/script duel. Just wish he wins for once. Besides he went through 2 board wipes and still manages to almost win with a decent board. Anyone who went through that at least deserve a win.
@@MultiZERO101 joey actually had a chance to win when he played pegasus the last time he was featured, but they made him misplay with red eyes black flare when he could've ended him then. seriously, joey being the butt end of a joke is kinda getting old when it's clear by the end that even pegasus respects him.

Arkana from the Anime used Mystic Tomato .... KAIBA never used it. Kaiba uses light monsters.

I don't see how people can be so quiet in presence of these voice actors. I'd be losing my shit everytime a card is played!!!
It probably was louder in person, and they just toned it down, or the people were asked to be more quiet so other people could hear better.
@@Avghistorian77 Not to mention that they probably only have about half an hour or so and if everyone lost their metaphorical shit every time something happened, they'd have to wait until things quieted down so people can hear what they're saying.
@@BmanTheChamp Most likely, or at least a limit, I mean, the Kaiba vs Yugi VA duel is a testimate just how long a duel can get with loud applause and the people for the audience to quiet down, then again, that duel might've been long by default than this one.
