- The latest IDEAS set is a Polaroid Camera. This is the 53rd LEGO IDEAS set from TLG. The camera features a working viewfinder, the iconic Color Spectrum, exposure compensation dial and a shutter button so you even can load and eject the illustrated photos. Also included is an opening film door to load LEGO Polaroid Photos in. Let me know what you think. Is there enough nostalgia in this to get you to buy?

Great review--love how you "tested" it outside for us. Very entertaining.
❤ Taking a Foto of Alex is "a good experiment". Nice! 🤣😂🤣
I actually have two retro Polaroids, so seeing this is pretty cool
Great review as always but I think I’m going to pass on this one.
LEGO Instagrammer’s fantasy set😂 great review though Alex ~!
What use is a physical printed photo in an instagrammers digital age?
Must be fantasising about times gone by
@@samwalker8893 it is content fodder for them. Nobody is suggesting they’ll use the printed photo. This set will show up on tons of feeds, you’ll see 👍
I actually had a Polaroid camera. I won't get it day one but will eventually get it. I'll put it with the game system sets as a nostalgia display from my youth.❤
I love these retro builds. But it’s not for me. Great review but you forgot to mention to the kiddos, this was our digital camera. Lol
Great way to spice a review!
Nice set, great review.
That is you, great review
I am a photographer who is,also AFoL, so this in interesting. The show stopper for me is the price. At $60 this would be a yes to buy. At $80 is not so clear that I would pick up the set.
Thanks for the comment. I can't disagree. $60 seems like it would hit right. Seems we just always pay a premium no matter what.
it's a decent set but with all the other sets it has to compete with (i.e. priority on people's wish list), I don't think people will buy it.
great little intro there
Ah, I don't know why part of me was thinking it would be a functioning camera. Haha. It would be cool if someone were able to do that. But I bet there's someone out there who's built a functioning film/Polaroid camera.
Just need to remove the casing and replace with LEGO. Seems simple enough...right?
try that please@@alexnunes
I agree with you Alex, I do remember Polaroid Cameras but no I won't purchase this set...
I’m so disappointed that this isn’t taking real pictures! NOT! 😂😂
Great set but I prioritize other sets. I never used a Polaroid camera so it doesn’t speak to me.
Great beginning of the video
Awesome set, I love lego and cameras but...
One big reason I was looking forward to this was since it has 516 pieces, it would probably be around $50, and therefore pretty affordable
Why is it $80? That's overpriced! It should be $50, at most $60.
C'mon Lego, please stop charging ridiculously overpriced prices on some stuff for no apparent reason. I think I speak for most Lego fans that prices on some Lego sets make no sense, they are way too much. The best example is the hoopty set $90 for 420 pieces? It should cost half the price! There are unfortunately many more examples of sets that are $10, $20, or more over what makes sense. Enough is enough
Thanks, and I think others agree, Seems $60 would have been a good fit to get people to buy. Just another overpriced paper weight, I guess.
Fantastic...I would also like to receive the sets in advance to make the videos on my channel
You build it and it might be a fun building experience e (though short) and then it ends up on the shelf and collects dust. All that for 80 Euros. Definitely not worth it!
That's pretty much it. Yep.
