Albert has that fed up look. Plus his ears look like little fairy ears. Maybe he just looks angry but really isn't. The other cat looks pretty chill and casually strolled by when the man got home.
Not cute, not grooming a long haired cat is cruel. Each tussle is matted tight and pulls their skin, which is uncomfortable and SORE. Ragdoll coat is not fair on the cat.
He's a curly coat rex cat their fur is like a curly sweater 😂 my step mom had one just like that grumpy looking too can't brush em like normal cats either

It could also be the reason he's that grumpy. When it starts matting close to the skin it can hurt while moving plus not being able to wash the skin underneath. Cats with long hair need daily brushing, especially when they're older.
