I'm no wildlife biologist, and I don't need to be one to confirm that lions are NOT pets. They are wild animals, apex predators, and should be treated with that level of dignity and respect. The last thing you would want to do to a lion is put it on a leash. Sure, if a lion loves you and considers you to be "part of the pride," expect loyalty, protectiveness, and love. But to be able to gain that level of trust from such an animal, be ready to dedicate your entire life to its happiness and well-being. These are powerful, majestic, and not to mention, dangerous creatures; NOT toys or props for human entertainment. I do not mean to come off as aggressive or arrogant. I merely wish to spread a little bit of education, that's all.
@johnWICKcruz8334 Remember how I said that to achieve that level of trust, one must be prepared to dedicate their entire life to the well-being of these animals? Kevin Richardson has done just that. He has spent so much time and resources into building a sanctuary that caters to the needs of the animals he rescues. Keep in mind, the sanctuary does not promote keeping wild animals as pets. Instead, Kevin emphasizes that lions are wild and belong in their natural habitat. He never treats the animals as "pets." The closest we can get to is "friends." Den deeply trusts Kevin thanks to the love, care, and not to mention, the facilities Kevin has provided for the lion to be a lion. He has in no way domesticated it. The lion is a lion, not an over-grown kitty cat. If you truly care about lions, advocate for their conservation and the protection of their natural habitats-not for treating them as pets, which puts both the animals and humans at risk. Hope you were able to learn a little something.☺

Uhmmm. This is insane. I have a regular house cat, and she's unpredictable. When she's mad, she swats at me, sometimes she bites me just because she's a cat.... Sometimes her instincts kick in and she hunts my feet while im just walking across the living room but she's small so it's funny and cute most of the time.... But she does that stuff because she's a cat. That's what cats do... Imagine this, you're raising a lion like a domestic house cat and it decides it doesn't want you to scratch it in that spot, so it gives you just a warning bite to let you know it doesn't like that..... Well that warning bite could be the thing that ends your life.....

@@wolf4ever237 agreed! I think ppl have a perception that most lions survive in the wild but most die as cubs for various reasons and die to other lions in a territorial fight. It can kill a human anytime but up against a lion who was born in the wild? RIP.
That lion will not survive in the wilds!
I wouldn't mind living with this lion family as long as I could raise all of them as cubs. You'd be surprised at what great pets they are. Great bodyguards. ❤❤❤❤❤
How about Den and Kevin Richarson they own a Lions family santuary in Africa and they love them by the lions like members of the pride.❤
@RiverKingston well you are wrong. This video alone proves it
@johnWICKcruz8334 Remember how I said that to achieve that level of trust, one must be prepared to dedicate their entire life to the well-being of these animals? Hope you were able to learn a little something.☺

it’s not a tiger, it’s a liger. Ligers can’t survive in the wild because they are a hybrid breed created by humans.
