Having kids/family is not for everyone but not having kids is great until you get in your 60's, 70's and you're alone and you take a fall or your health is bad and there's no one too come check on you. Your parents are gone, your brothers and sisters , friends all have their own problems and those nephews and nieces have their own lives, kids etc to deal with they will have no time for you. They will barely have time for their own parents let alone aunt/uncle. I've seen a lot of my parents friends that didn't have kids go that way. All alone and struggling as their partner has died. No kids its great when you're still young enough to enjoy life and travel but when you cant it sucks.
I never wanted children. Still don’t, I hate kids. My kids know I hate kids 😅 Their friends come over to play? I leave the house But I can’t imagine my life without my children. They’re the best thing in my life
Nope. Having kids is just selfish ego. It's for your own fulfilments, societal pressures. Think about it.

It bothers me people has to explain themselves to other people about not wanting kids, as if you are obligated to have them, the biggest deterrent from having kids for me was watching other people's children and how they behave.
Sort of, but when you look at places like South Korea, Japan, Britain, and U.S., you see that replacement levels are too low, and in about sixty year's time we are going to have some serious (and irrecoverable) infrastructural issues due to lack of said replacements.
I’m forty three and have no kids but like so many men I’m forced to be the cool uncle. One thing I can say after taking a look around where I live is that all the dumb selfish people have kids simply for the wrong reasons. The problem is I don’t want their lives in order to become a parent. What I mean by that is I’m old enough and wise enough to not make the same mistakes but economically I’m no better off.
It's Great to have kids. If she had them, she would so happy for them. Yeah it's hard work, but you're gonna put hard work into something anyways. Better your kids than hobbies.
I think most people regret not having kids as they get older in life, once they get past their youth, a time when they didn't want to be bogged down by them. But as life slows, suddenly there might be this empty feeling.
Yes and no for me. I would be overwhelmed at 50. When I was in my 20’s, I wanted kids but realized it would be difficult. I’m autistic, and can barely help myself.
@@jaAYnuMbeR5really? I never knew people regret having kids. But I know a lot people regret NOT/NEVER having kids in later life because they're lonely and they want descendants especially in Asian culture.
I'm unmarried. Do I want to get married if I find someone? yes. But I'm also fine if I don't. Do I want kids? It was a no when I was asked in my 20s and it's still a no in my 40s. If I were to suddenly get pregnant for some ridiculous chance. I would keep the baby and I'd be a great parent. I know I'd be great bc I was 23 when my baby brother was born and I did the whole shabang of taking care for a kid. He's in 3rd year college now. But being a great parent bc you end up having kids is not the same as wanting it. I know people who got married with kids and they grow old at 70 80s living alone, barley see their children and grandchildren. Maybe holidays and when they die. I won't be any diff. My nephew's kids and cousin's kids will visit me just as frequent. I think what's important than kids is having a spouse. when you're old like in 70s 80s, it's not your children that will be your companion, it's the person growing old beside you. I'm more worried about wanting some companionship when I'm 70 80 than if my grandkids be around.
@@Peechiness Finding a husband is easy, though, so long as you are approachable, caring, and peaceable, there are lots of options for people in their 40s. The thing is, though, the older you get the more baggage you accrue, and not properly growing up with the person -- only meeting to grow old(er) togetherm -- can have detrimental effects in the form of having difficulty forming a deep union beyond the surface level due to all the bones in the chest. There's also the risk that even if you do have kids, post-40 it's going to be a challenge to stay healthy to be a part of their life for more than just the formative years.
I'm sure people regret not having kids when they are older. It's human nature. I probably would say the same when I'm older, but if I gotta be honest with myself, would I if time was turned back.
Kelly Hu still looks amazing😍
kelly hu my goodness is still beautiful
I never wanted children. Still don’t, I hate kids. My kids know I hate kids 😅
Their friends come over to play? I leave the house
But I can’t imagine my life without my children. They’re the best thing in my life
Kelly Hu started my Asian Fever.
I'm team no kids, best move I ever made for my life!
Kids eat all your food and drain your bank accounts.
@@ManChan-w5p No lies were told here....lol.
Li mai is a cat lady F that I have 10 kids if I could I want to build my own goddam baseball team the comments are pandering nonsense this is sad
Nope. Having kids is just selfish ego. It's for your own fulfilments, societal pressures. Innocent souls don't need to come here to be wage slaves and deal with dumb problems every human deals with: emotions, illnesses, bullying, mental health problems, loneliness, sadness, depression, boredom, stress, pain, dealing with nasty and evil people...lists goes on. Think about it.
Absolutely right!!!!
I'm 45 single male live alone and happy you don't need kids or a wife to be happy I love my family friends and I'm content with no kids no wife .it's easier and less stressful in this life
23, single guy and same💯💯💯
Team no kids forever .
1:03 For any doctors familiar with frozen embryos: Are there increased risk for child illness or deformities? Or are frozen embryos just as good as fresh ones?
I never had kids and perfectly happy without the cookie cutter life! I don't want to be like everyone else.
Would you have the same mindset years down the line? That is the important question, putting ego aside.
@@cwoherem no one knows that, even for the parents so let's focus on now.
How can any woman be this beautiful and rocking the gray streaks, just gorgeous
she was a big crush of mine in 90s she aged well
She's very smart n bright as they come
Women w no kids are going to be so sad.
Im a guy and I’m single and don’t plan on having kids.
No kids for me either!
Why wasn't she in Deadpool & Wolverine, as Lady Deathstrike?
Yes no kids
You must be proud of that huh?
@@karangRNreally I got good good
Yes, some people shouldn’t have kids.
@@karangRNWhat does someone else’s decision matter to you?
Same I don’t need that biological need either, kids they are not for everyone
So sad Kelly didn't get to reprise Lady Deathstrike in Deadpool and Wolverine.
@Billy-bc8pk in sixty year's time most of us will be dead anyway and immigration is a thing.
I remember her in the early 2000s! Kelly Hu is STILL FINE 😍
Wow she's gorgeous, even at her age.
It’s cool. Not everyone wants them. It’s all good as long as you don’t have any. If you can stick to it then do it.
hey going too be 50 I have no kids an I'm good
She can adopt me if she don't want kids. 😅
And how do you expect things to go since she'd be your mother-in-law? Lol!
@@cwoherem She can always be my mother, my mother in law or big sister.
Ask her that same question in a few years.
I’m 48 never had or want kids
I’m forty three and have no kids but like so many men I’m forced to be the cool uncle. One thing I can say after taking a look around where I live is that all the dumb selfish people have kids simply for the wrong reasons. The problem is I don’t want their lives in order to become a parent. What I mean by that is I’m old enough and wise enough to not make the same mistakes but economically I’m no better off.
I'm 43 an don't have any kids 😅
she is very pretty
I met Kelly Hu in 2012-13, she was a beauty then and STILL a beauty today💕 OMG!!!😍
Better to not have kids than treat them badly like some awful parents….
I have a kid, and it's an overrated experience. Live your life and have fun.
My question is, how in the world you got her to do this podcast???
31 is sort of young. Not pretty young. Stop being in denial brother. I’m 33, we aren’t 23 anymore.
She only wanted to donate her eggs to a White European/East Asian couple? Weird.....
I find it funny how people can be together for so long and then all of a sudden, have kids then break up.
I love her
It's Great to have kids. If she had them, she would so happy for them. Yeah it's hard work, but you're gonna put hard work into something anyways. Better your kids than hobbies.
She looks exactly the same from scorpion king
A man have the luxury to wait as his fertility doesn't change much till his 50s.
Kelly Hu. What a babe 😻
She's still gorgeous 😍😎😍
Watched her panel in a con in Jakarta… she’s just so lovely!
I’m autistic, and can barely help myself.
whats even more sad is some people regret having kids, but will never say anything.
There's also the risk that even if you do have kids, post-40 it's going to be a challenge to stay healthy to be a part of their life for more than just the formative years.
just came to comment kelly hu is as magnificent as ever :D
I love Kelly
People always regret not having kids when they get older. Glad i have 3.
I'm sure people regret not having kids when they are older. It's human nature. I probably would say the same when I'm older, but if I gotta be honest with myself, would I if time was turned back. I still wouldn't. I wish I was the type to want kids, but deep down I am tired of saying what is normal to say. I'm prolly going to be the same psycho who don't have the capacity to want one. I do enjoy watching parents enjoy their kids though. I don't want kids ever, but it's so lovely to see people with their family. It's a joy to watch. Just not for me unfortunately. oh and ps, I don't have pets or want pets either. Some people just aren't blessed with kids. I bet your kids are awesome ;)
@@Peechiness I have a family member been married for nearly 30 yrs now but at age 30 she was diagnosed with lupus and caused a series of health issues and doctors predicted she would have difficulty having kids. I'm sure that news devastated her since she loves kids. A few years ago, I heard her saying she's glad she didn't have the burden of having kids but I know deep down she thinks differently. Thank you for your comments about my kids. Good luck to you. Btw, just because you don't want kids do not make you a psycho...maybe just a weirdo 😜. Good luck to you. 🙏
Many of us don't regret it. I'm glad I don't have annoying expensive kids who will just disrespect & disappoint me. No thanks.
