We just don't do it now because we have been so alienated from what makes us human. Not saying you *have* to have kids, but the idea of a magical ideal keeps a lot of people from having them who would do just fine as parents.
Interesting sketch. Funny as usual. Many people probably don't know that you already did your part to help the future. 👶🏻
She and hubby need 2.1 kids to replace themselves, plus a little extra.
@@imranqqq7307 Aint nobody got time + money + energy for that.
Love this! Ty for the smiles! Needed them! 😊 Lisa
Getting back into the time travel bits. At least she didn't have a pandemic to deal with!
Thank you Julie. Great start of the day thanks to you! And coffee, but mainly you 😉
"The future sucks, have kids!"
Don't you see how those two statements are at odds with each other?
That's right - it just isn't worth it!
Well, I am convinced. No kids for me then
I love this. So much. Great job Julie and team, this is a special one.
The choice is VERY obvious! SLEEEEEEEEP
lol
My great grandchildren are very grateful for all your stuff and houses, thank you come again
Help me Julie-Wan KeNolke, You're My Only Hope!
Your best skit in a while. Good job staying in your career path!
🥰🤩This is brilliant Julie!
thank youuuu!
It always is.
Great acting by Julie, of course, as usual!
This is a very deeply philosophical episode! Excellent job, Julie!
These just get better and better. You have wonderful ideas Julie
Just this week a news report flashed by . Fertility in my country has dropped below 75% of the replacement rate .
Don't worry, it is fine in other parts of the world.

Theeeee best of you till date! That's for sure. Something atleast making sense on the internet. Thank you, I thoroughly enjoyed. And the NUKE at last,,,
The Joke(Aliens👽) that they choose to look. Hats off funny and gutsy. More power to you Julie 👍
Why have children when i can spend that money on not having kids instead???
Very smart comedy Julie. Great work.
I had this exact discussion with my wife the other day.... Too real hahaha.
The key to convince her to make a child is both promising and proving to her you will do at least 50% of the care work and mental load.
@@pirlie oh I said I’d dip for the first three years and send a pack of beef jerky to her once a week… for the child. Did I do that wrong?
there is ONE study that shows SOME indicators of happiness is higher without kids, but an entire BODY of studies showing that nearly every indicator of happiness is higher after becoming parents.
Having Hologram Julie do the ad read is just brilliant 😂
Okay but this has got to be my most favourite skit of yours 🤭🤣🤣🤣🤣
“Help Me Obi-Wan Kenobi, You’re My Only Hope.”
Strong SW vibes!
Yeah... I'm currently in a good place of my career...
Also got just a hint of "Prince of Darkness" vibes, haha.
Except I would expect Obi-Wan to be watching episodes of Chopped
Brilliant as always!
Great one Julie! 👏😂
Thank you!! 😁
It's funny how people think you can't afford children if you don't already have a plan for the best collages and universities when you yourself are in your twenties when so many successful people came out of the scenario that their parents simply didn't have money for uni so either get a scholarship or an alternate path in life. That is literally how life was. And even sending them to the high end kindergarten isn't the priority. If you failed at one goal ( getting a high end carried) that doesn't mean you force yourself to failing at another equally important one ( raising successfully children)
Wait, they aren't aliens?
still tbd
Always interesting and well done, Julie.
"They choose to look like that..." 😂
You are so clever. Entertaining. And worth watching episode after episode. Thank you.
too bad sponsored by a horrible war company, serving israel
gah, that reverse inflation ... I was hoping it would be a back-of-the-couch hundred million
Best Nolke sketch I've seen in a year ❤
This made me smile so hard.
At 1:24 "a tax incentive from the future -- retroactive fee" -- Hahahahahaha! You wish. You are dreaming. 🤣🤣
omg is this canon to "explaning the pandemic to myself" cinematic universe?
Julie. This is the best video you've made in ages. Be proud of this one. It's so great.
The genius of this skit is that Julie has had a child, so she's saved the timeline. So this is more like a cautionary tale. Brilliant!
She had one, she should have more.
Unless of course she's having children without a husband
Love this, haaaa! Also I bet you could do a great character parody of Molly Pettit (WRC Journalist/Broadcaster) if you could ever find a way to work rally or whatever into a sketch. It’s super niche, I know, but I just thought I’d throw it out there and see if it lands. Any rally fan would get the reference right away. Keep rocking it, Team Julie, you folks got a good thing going.
The "well, shit. that's not the answer I was hoping for" was just fantastic delivery!
Your best yet!
What has my species ever done for me?
