I never flew on this plane before I'm glad I found your video
You’re so welcomed. I’m so happy you enjoyed it.
Maís vc vai voar nele um dia ❤❤❤
My very first time flying is next week and here I am looking up flying vidoes 😂. I hope I don't have to run 😂
Have fun!
Always so interesting to see how slow and moderate take-off looks on camera, compared to how intense and fast it feels during the real thing
Thank you so much for your comment. You’re absolutely right.
We are a couple traveling and it seems our row 8 (right behind First) has better leg space than First. I just got a nice deal upgrade to First for $100 for both of us, but for less leg room and no in-flight meal, I think I’ll stay in Eco Row 8.
Yeah these aren’t lay flats!
Have I ever had to run to make a flight?
Yes... at DFW... had a LONG delay due to "weather". They switched gates several times and the last one had us running from one end of the airport to the other.
Yes! It happens a lot!
That happened to us on spring break last month😂
Outside of no hot food, I LOVE the E170/5!
When I fly solo, always A side & always DF with the Mrs.
The F cabin to me feels more "executive" than the 737/57 and all 300 series (less 321B).
Thanks for a great video
Thank you so much for watching. Appreciate the nice comment
I’m flying in a few days in the same spot. I hope they got entertainment
They do but on some domestic flights they have started to not even include headsets. It’s such a pain but still waaaaaay better than their narrow body fleet?
Agree. IFE should be on these types planes.
If no IFE WiFi price should be a lot lower than they charge.
As far as in flight entertainment goes I might use it if not too expensive. I don't fly often so I usually get a window seat and I keep looking through the portal during most of the flight.
Yeah - so usually UA, JB and DL has the same rates on the same routes so it’s a no-brainer compared to an AA narrow-body.
Was there no meal service at all? Or even snacks?
Nothing. Even more of late from LAX-MIA no meal
Could they make it smaller? I wasn't freaking out enough from turbulence.
It’s a regional plane
I was offered a free upgrade for first class on a flight home from an american eagle (1.5 hours)
I feel like first class is best for long international flights. but im just one guy
It’s a must for long flights - anything over 6 hours should have a lay flat with personal entertainment.
Yes I had to run for flight it was an American Airlines 787-8 from Dallas to Miami
Running to catch a flight is not fun but I do not run anymore. If I miss it because they did not schedule me right then they can take care of things and make it up to me.
I mean WOW man look at those views. Crisp camera quality.
Looks like a tiny cabin and its always not been happy for me
But now I work aboard a319's and im getting used to midget space 😂.
I do think you need IFEs tho homie on the AA First class service! Look @ those seats!!!! Barren!!!!
Sick vid dude best time to fly
Thanks so much for the nice comment
Although the lack of screens on American is definitely a thing, I think it's worth noting that no airlines offer seatback entertainment on this aircraft type.
Air Canada is the only one I can think of that does, but AA has removed ALL IFEs from their narrow body, which is why I will not fly on them unless it is a wide body or regional.
Came here to find out how to pull out the table for my sister who is currently in flight 😂😂
Glad it helped!
How is the overhead bin size in the economy area? I'm looking to get a new carry on but it is just about an inch bigger than the maximum size listed on the AA website.
It’s the same size as economy as I remember
@@DrGariS so you think a carry-on that is 23” x 15” x 9.5” (just a bit bigger than when they allow-per the website) will fit?
@@Tinabert8275I would stick to their recommendation but I’ve had a size similar to that fit with no issue
@@DrGariS ok. Thank you!
Yes I had to run before to catch a flight ✈️ felt like forest Gump I was running 🏃♀️ 😅😂
I am glad you made it and I know the feeling! I do not run anymore when I have a tight connection. If the airline schedules me in a messed up way, they will need to fix it or hold up the plane.
Those look like regular seats... so basically it looks like you're paying to be front of the line
Actually they are a little different, you do get better service and priority everything else. It’s not that big of a deal but they aren’t the best seats.
Phoenix to Burbank. Mr excitement
Haha
😮 Very cool business and channel concept! I'm in! (subbed) A desert Gen-Xer is curious how the other half lives. Also, I will check u out if I need LAX/SNA to London (u said International, right? I'm still a year out, so don't wait on my funds, or it'll be an Anna Delvey wire😂). - just me in Palm Springs 🌴 Good luck! 💪
Well hello and thanks so very much for the lovely comment, neighbor! 😃
Yup, usually my rates are slightly lower than published for many international routes. Shoot me an email and I’ll add you to my system. Would love to keep in touch. :). Has it been rainy there too?
@DrGariS Sounds good👍. Will do (in the a.m. bc I'm 🥱💤🤫). As for weather, a lot of the major roads flooded, and we're expecting more rain this week, but u prob. already know that. 😁 Pls fly safely. That LA-adjacent tornado 🌪? Yeah. That. 😳-- just me in Palm Springs 🌴
@@normajeanmcdaniel4491 so you’re getting a lot of what we are. Stay safe and I’ll respond to the email when I see it :). So lovely to “meet” you. :)
It looked like there was not an awful lot of leg space.
This is true!
@@DrGariS oh okay
Well as for the IFE on this aircraft I am sure they have short flight time the destinations so that’s why they don’t have them so people can use the own device.
This one is usually used as a regional BUT they also have narrow body planes crossing the US and to Hawaii and even South America WITH NO IFEs. Awful!
@@DrGariS oh no crossing South America on that it’s crazy
We’ll be on one for a 2.5 hour flight - that’s long enough to watch a movie so I’d enjoy IFE. I consider a short flight one that’s less than 2 hours such as San Antonio to DFW.
You know what? Imma subscribe sir! Come aboard one of our flights at Easyjet UK. We have A319,320,321s for you to review!
Huge UK AIRLINE!!!!!
Thank you. Would love to
AA has removed screens on basically every domestic jet
I know - so awful. I try to avoid unless it is the wide body because of that, which is a shame as I am PP and almost EP but now I have moved to UA.
Took away IFE’s when merger happened with US Airways. It’s what happens when AA is ran by US Airways management.
It’s so sad because I no longer fly AA on their narrow bodied planes. No different than Spirit now.
I don't need IFE in an one hour flight. It adds up weight to a light airplane. What's not there can not fail. Keeps maintenance, operating costs and fares low.
Neither do I but on narrow body cross country and to Hawaii it’s pretty abusive not to have it
Camelback Mtn. at 1:05.
Oh thank you for that. I didn’t know! :)
Ife is outdated since you asked. Devices are better and also make planes safer as you don't need miles of wiring for ifes instead Wi-Fi gets you all you need minus plane safety concerns
Not since Swiss air has there been any issues. I prefer having IFEs
I'm an AA frequent Flyer with status and like you, DO NOT LIKE the removal of seat back entertainment. Also, their partner, Alaska Airlines has done the same, but at least there, you can "rent" a device in Economy to have some choices on longer flights.
I’ve stopped flying AA narrow body. Yea at least with Alaska they give you the pads.
AA is getting much too CHEAP by making far too many cutbacks. UNITED does a much better job with cabin appointments and seating.
Agree - them and Delta still have tvs too (I won’t fly AA narrow body anymore)
Business with just a drink? 😮
On short flights that’s pretty customary in US domestic flights in USA first
It’s a 45 min flight?
@@austencline1987 From where I live to Madrid it’s 45 minutes and business class breakfast and a little tray with hot or cold snacks (plus a dessert) are usually served in business. I have never seen just drinks in business regardless the flight duration.
IFE systems are prone to failure. I’ve had multiple IFE issues on multiple flights from coach to business or first, and it’s frustrating and unavoidable given the abuse each system takes and the amount of labor needed to keep them working perfectly all the time. I’m more comfortable bringing my own iPad and content than trusting that an IFE will actually work as advertised .
RARELY do they have issues that a reboot doesn’t repair. I fly on average 4 times a month and in the last few years haven’t had any issues with any IFE.
im not too fond of flying..
@@hmuphilly9129 I hear you! I would rather take a ship any day
@@DrGariSI wasnt expecting that reply, presonally if i were to choose a plane or ship think it would be a plane i remember being sea sick easily
@@hmuphilly9129oh you must not travel across oceans on ships easily then. What do you do when you go to Europe?
@@DrGariS I uh never went to europe
that was a ship ride to a prison turned musuem/ haunted facility in california
