- Welcome to another gameplay video, this time showing a not very popular build right now, but which created lots of hype after the buffs received some months ago. This build has an insane healing output, while providing massive cleanses and aoe stability. The biggest downside of this build are :
- most cleanses come from pulsing aoe skills, meaning if your squad moves away, you don't cleanse; thus, the skill timings must be almost perfect
- hard to loot every enemy, since you don't hit a lot

put a target marker on your tag, then you can quickly target them with the 'take target' keybind. makes it easier to land staff 1/2 reliably. You can cast CA 2 while channeling other skills too
I played Driud a lot and IMHO it's the best 2nd support atm. But playing as Driud is totaly not-rewarding unless you play GvG. Did you try sword instead of axe as 2nd main weapon? It gives additional movment (leap) with short cooldown.
Ehi, I didn't try sword at all, but you are right, the added mobility might be worth it, since axe offers basically nothing, except nice attacks to tag more enemies.
For being the best secondary support, i will need to test more to see if i can agree with that; it is surely the best in the amount of healing output, tho.
@@metallonegw2283 its kinda a mix between scrapper and tempest; best cleanser atm at peak gameplay is tempest, best healer scrapper (plus i'm not sure if druid can provide superspeed)
@@andrewstricher144 Druid has 3 seconds superspeed when leaving CA. Scrapper might have more sustained heals indeed, but i think burst heals are best on druid
@@andrewstricher144 The best healer is vindi followed by druid, tempest with staff and tempest d/d. Scrapper is on 5th place bro. Im playing all of 2nd support and Scrapper was my main toons for a long itme.
@@DrOctawius That's not true. Vindi has indeed the most healing output, but tempest is actually healing about 1k more per second than druid. Scrapper is also above druid, since medkit is more consistent and you got the most healing power on scrapper, so your regeneration gets prioritized.
Anyways, average healing numbers aren't a benchmark. You gotta look at the skills a class provides that actually prevent an allie from dying and druid has nothing to offer than CA3 in those kind of fights. The class is mostly based around cleansing people, giving might and stealthing.
You need to improve your reaction speed when you play support. You can't be passive like that when playing support. Support is very unforgiving in my opinion. One bad timing of your heal can wipe out your group.
It also depends on the position of you party members, some people just can't stick to tag and wander around, while taking huge chunks of damage in a millisecond. Not very easy to full them up lol
