Mandalas started during later vedic period in India and it comes from Indian spiritual origin of yantaram.... Later spread to many other religions....The idea of Yantaram came from the shift of gods happened from nature worship to 33 crores gods and goddesses came into existence... Nature god's had symbols but others don't... To have symbols for gods the idea of yantaram came into existence and later it was Mandala for meditation and now it's a huge art form of its own.... ❤❤
I've been working on mandalas for last few months. Even I've made some mandala arts too (including Lord Krishna,Lord Jagannath, Radhakrishna etc.)But from today, after watching your video,I 've come to know the real significance of this artform...Such beautiful bonding between spirituality and art...Too much helpful and informative video...
I was wondering what the origin of mandalas were. When you create mandalas what is the purpose for doing so? Is it a form of worship to the deity you serve. I am interested in having a better understanding of what a mandala represents, the spiritual aspects and personal ones if possible? Thank you for creating this video. I appreciate your efforts. Have an amazing day.
Amazing! It just hit me that my Mongolian great-aunt's name "Mandal" has possibly come from the Sanskrit Mandala (Mandal means a various other things in Mongolian too, but this must be the origin!). The wide spread of Buddhism and the cultural impact is incredible!

Sanskrit is the language Indians use not own, also in Sanskrit it is called Manda. In every hindu/buddhist ceremony(according to the event) they create Manda to perform their auspicious activities on floor.
Yes bro, sanskrit originates from Newar people (check Bhujimol script) of Kathmandu. Legends say that Veds which is the Holy collection of books for all Hindus were written with Gods and Rishis of Himalayas. Nepal, a country who gave birth to Hindu and Buddhism.

It is art?
Yes its Mandala Art
Okay
I call it neither मन्डाला nor मंडल...I use to call it मंडला (mandala) so as per the video I'm pronouncing it wrongly🤔
No no that's not wrong.. It's just everyone has different ways of pronouncing it...u can call it मंडला as well... I have heard it from some people 😊😊
Not 'Mandaalaa' pronounce in correct way 'Mandal' मंडल
No India sketch
Mandala is not the name of an image, Mandala is the name of the symbol of the Majapahit kingdom
Yes Mandala has different forms and meanings in different context
Christian not have mandala
