W'salam. Memang ada resepi sambal ikan bilis yang tak letak bawang putih, tapi sambal dalam resepi saya dimasak lama jadi rasa bawang putih tu dah bertukar jadi manis. Kalau guna bawang putih dan tak tumis lama-lama rasa sambal akan maung. 😀

Asam paste is pre-prepared as opposed to fresh asam ( tamarind ) where you have to squeeze the juice yourself. 😀
