Mr. Peterson if you read this I have to tell you that you have aided in helping me realize more than I imagined in so much as what my life means and how to fight the cruelty of life. I have come to know (through your teachings and other related topics) there is no easy way and one should not take it easy to gain honor. I won't go in to my personal challenges, but I will say my children are now with me and it was under horrible circumstances. I am now teaching them certain aspects of your teachings. My daughter is a tiger and won't be taken for granted now, and my son (special needs) is looking forward to a new better life. Don't stop teaching...you ARE making a difference

Hello Dr. Peterson. Thank you for your insight on so many things. When listening to this talk on how to be less afraid of death, my mind went immediately to my faith. I don't want to die necessarily, but I do not fear death because I have faith that I will be with GOD

Face life fearlessly ... fear is the enemy ... trying to scare you into submission ... laugh at life ... then get back up more times than you get knocked down

"As your influence increases then that becomes a lot of responsibility..." Yet, learned wisdom must intercede to show that one can not do for another which is their responsibility. We can help another but should not do what is/should be their burden, task and/or responsibility. This thought is expressed in the song "It's Your Decision" by Not Here Very Long... "Exhaust yourself" with the responsibilities that are yours and that you should own. However, don't "Exhaust Yourself" of responsibilities that are others... If you do, your life will not be fulfilled with a properly balanced and guided compass... You'll also do a disservice for the other on their journey... Thank you Jordan Peterson for all you do and give to the world. May we take your wisdom and make it part of our responsibility and journey. Let's properly "Exhaust Ourselves" together... "BRING IT ON..."

Yeah, it's easy to peace out after you've made it. Harder still to keep fighting to improve the human condition. The highest aspiration of any human being is to be all that you can possibly be. In that moment, you have the greatest opportunity to help as many people as you can to get that next leg up. I think it's your obligation, your duty, to do as much as you can. It's why we were put here. Anything lower is an abdication of responsibility. I dare do all that may become a man; who dares do more is none.

Agree to an extent since our perceptions can drastically affect points of view or perspective therefore wouldn't classify anyone as abdicating responsibility

Dr. Peterson, I believe you are so full of Gods Spirit. You speak with Authority, Truth and have such a huge understanding of life and it's difficulties. I really get so much from listening to you. I believe you bring hope, especially as you challenge me deeply, to think more, and face my most darkest side accept reality as it is, connected with a to do list😅 Keeping you and your family in the prayers 💖

Right, take all out of life, take life and earth, space and time - at all cost, abuse and damage!
That's what mankind is doing for thousands of years.
    Bravo! 🤐

GOING THROUGH ALL THE MOMENTS TO EXPERIENCE SOMETHING GOOD ON THE OTHERSIDE OF THINGS I AM IN
    GOING THROUGH TRAILS TRIBULATIONS
MAKING SURE THAT EVEN THRU CRAZINESS
    SHORT MORNINGS
    LONGER NIGHTS
EVERYTHING HAPPENS THE WAY ITS SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN I BELIEVE IN HAPPENING
TO LET EVERYTHING COME TO LIGHT BE IN THE BEST POSSIBLE OUTCOMES THAT ONE CAN WANT
EVERYONE WANTS TO BE IN THE MOMENT
BUT NO ONE WANTS TO PUT THE WORK IN

5:30 They're not listening. All there is to do is prove they're wrong and discredit them if they won't concede. They're hurting the minds of children grooming them to take advantage of them financially when they are young adults.

As long as you’ve got money you’ll be alright. Peterson is loaded. When you’re poor and faced with homelessness, then come talk to me.

Read about his benzodiazepine withdrawal a few years ago. That’s about as close to hell as you can get while you’re alive. He knows what he’s talking about when he talks about suffering and hardship.

You say in the video, death looks like the end. Remember even to Christians that don't believe it is, we still know it is the end of our bodies. We acknowledge death is an end, we acknowledge that in the natural, all you see is the end and then you see no more. Maybe it is our bodies that only have one life in them. I don't have a lot of the things you say you have in life then get tired with, I have missed out because of complex reasons but I also accept it is my destiny in God to not have those things, and I have no desire to be young again, not in this world at least. "I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." As for death looking like the end? "we walk by faith not by sight"...."for who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverence." Human reason has it's limits. As for the atheist, you said in another talk they don't understand sacrifice so they only live for this life, and temporary pleasure (you didn't use those exact words). But the point is you're smarter than they are because their only response is hostility because of their own ignorance. What they don't understand they don't value hence the scripture, "but the natural man cannot perceive spiritual things because they are foolishness to him." This is why atheists can be so obnoxious, because they don't have the self-awareness necessary to understand why their own ignorance doesn't actually count as knowledge and experience but in fact ignorance and inexperience.

Saddened for example the voice you were speaking with...tragic lost in his head. Jordan I just had a call this last minute my aunt died... and listening to you here. Jesus is a person not a story though I know you have a context that he is in for you. I just spoke with my only sister and she claims to be an aethiest but s as I'd to her we are next so don't harden your heart as the scripture says. You said once it would be too terrifying to realize Christ is real and what one would do about that. Yes hell is real and Jesus spoke more about hell than heaven. My Aunt was Catholic and I have been praying in the failure to communicate she heard (the last sensation to go) the last rights that a priest came and gave. NOT because that has any magic but because she may have called to Christ alone before her last breath and was reminded of Him beyond all things. It is by HIS grace that we are saved not by works that no one should boast the scripture says. You are an intelligent man but a man first and I hear your voice and have the same prayer for you as for my sister and did for my aunt who I loved !!!! You have positively affected my life and thank you however you are right to feel fear that at the end will lead you to surrender to Christ in the depths of your being. Seeking is His call and you have only to respond. Please know that this stranger to you is aware of the serendipity of the moment with this death in my family and your comments I could not encourage you. Religion and belief is not enough but surrendering to the One who gave Himself is real and more than any idol we create. Jordan you and your family have a burden unlike most. John Lennox may be a person you know and no doubt a quiet personal conversation confidential might offer you something you seek in your own questions. Or Alistair Begg... not those enamoured of celebrity of intellect but beyond it. With care! Another Canadian. My Aunt was British and came to Canada and moved to the US. Had every privilege and status but we all come before His face if not here than ultimately.

I can’t accept my in laws smh I hate them so bad it’s ruining my marriage..They did what they did and now ion wana live with them my wife does and we’ve been doin that since 2015 and even some time b4 that. I didn’t have it to move my family outta her mom’s house but once we left she then moved them over to us and that was the beginning of the end..she acts like bc they help that means im ok with this shit and I’m not. Honestly I feel like it’s Me vs them. I’m miserable and she barely care enough to put the marriage she wanted first over her damn family that she complained abt constantly treating her like shit…i question where my common sense was when I tied my self to this shit. I love her so much it hurts but love ain’t enough and I sure wish someone told me that shit prior bc I wouldn’t be here…I wana runaway I’m so unhappy but what I want means nothin bc I got 4 kids now. It’s too late for what I want and my happiness esp since it directly clashes with my kids and wife’s happiness. So mine is the odd man out. Tryna do the man shit i was never taught. I wish I found these vids earlier b4 I was emptied out
