Packaging feels like an attempt to market itself as a toy rather than a mid-to-high spec fitness bracelet like the Japanese packaging seems to fancy itself.
I got mine about a week ago. It's running great and only minor issues with the app but that is more of an issue with the app. I know we can use the Japanese DiM cards I really hope we get more DiM cards over here soonish.
I mean I guess. I do have the Japanese version which is small enough that it is something you can just pocket. However due to price of the VH I doubt store will sell it in a way you just take it off the shelf.
Hi, I have always been a long time fan of Digimon but moreso the games and the vpets than anything else. I bought a few of the X digivce Vpets and thought they were really cool. Much to my surprise, I was shocked to learn about the vital bracelets. I'd like to try and get into this, but I have just one question that is really nagging on me. I really dislike when multiple versions of things exist, especially when some are exclusive or first in certain regions. I like that the Japanese bracelets can be played in English, but surprisingly enough, I care a lot about the name being visible in English too. My question is if I buy a Japanese Dim and use it on my English Vital Hero, will the name be displayed in japanese still due to it being a Japanese Dim? Or will the name be in English because of the English Bracelet? If all names are converted into English on the Hero, I think I will purchase an English bracelet. If names are reliant on the Dims, then maybe I should jsut purchase a Japanese bracelet regardless? I was researching and also saw that BE bracelets were coming in Japan, but the edition I found on PBandai was almost double the price of one I could pick up now, and I am not too sure if it is worth it or not. The pixel Dim card is very cool and nostalgic for me, and something worries me that it will be exclusive to that bundle. What in your opinion would be my best course of action? so it has digivice V programming, but the box says "each DiM card works for one Vital Hero device only". I thought with device V the dims could be used on up to three device?

So, if i can buy the japenese one, should i do instead of buying the english edition? Its funny cos actually the importing one is cheaper than buying this one 😅
That's only when using the English dim cards, when using the Japanese ones, they are still in Japanese. If you want English names, just use the English dim cards.
I ended up buying just the dim off somebody who just wanted the band, but if you're offering to send just the band to complete the set, I'd be keen, thank you!

Follow up to this. The red band Vital Heroes are popping up in Walmart's around me in AZ. They seem to only be putting out two at a time.
Bummed out I couldn’t find the Walmart exclusive in stock.

I've heard it's also stocked in stores in the US but can't confirm as I'm in Australia.

The Japanese dims, when loaded in the English watch will have names in Japanese. The English dims will have names in English on the Japanese watch.

Fairly certain that's just incorrect marketing as you can use it on 3 like the V

I’m worried the BE app will be Japanese only, I don’t think the BE will work with the current app will it?
They should really put piece that keeps the dim card port protector attached to the vital bracelet like in the show
I think the BE looks like it's going to have something like that.

I would recommend the Vital Bracelet BE over the older models
