Muse WERE one of the best. But hey have been on a downward trajectory since Black Holes and Revelations. And its such a shame to say this, as a fan of muse for 20 years.

This is one my favorite Muse songs, it has everything. This album is a masterpiece.
The lights on Chris’ bass are just for looks and can come in a few different colors, that’s a part of his signature custom bass
However, there are also lights down the side of the neck which helps you see where you are the neck in the dark

Muse are virtuoso musicians and they always put on an incredible show. There is also a clear case of the creative craziness of genius at work here.

I think Matt Bellamy tends to use Manson guitars, which is a pretty small company in their home county of Devon, and have had all sorts of customised guitars with touch screens and God knows what added.

I gotta say Muse has been a steady fixture in my life for like 20 years. Always great. One of my top 5 shows I've been to, maybe even top 3. Keen for them to tour again. Matt Bellamy is a genius mad professor. I also love that it's been these same 3 guys (a 3 piece with such a huge sound) since high school basically. Very few bands are that constant. I wouldn't be sad if you fell down a bit of a muse rabbit hole. I don't remember if you've done madness live but it would probably be the live in Rome one but the bass has this touch pad which he uses almost like an electronic whammy bar but for a bass. Very very cool

The leds on the inlays of the Chris Bass has the purpose of see your fingerboard in dark scenarios, and look cool as hell, theres a plenty of trademarks that can make your bass with led inlays, status, modulus, warwick...

I always think it is amazing to see bands that sell out stadiums in the rest of the world playing venues with less than 2,000 capacity in the states. I wonder how it makes any financial sense whatsoever.

there is a history of those riffs at the end turning into actual songs, for years the riff that became the song Psycho was played as an outro to several songs.

The lights on the bass are just LED fret markers. They don't do anything clever. If you look at my avatar, you should just be able to make out I have them on my basses too. BTW, the bass Chris uses is a signature model, made by Status, I have one of those as well!

Muse was a very talented band between 1999 and 2010.... after they "just" become Huge stadium monster live act and Pop/rock commercial shitty band.... If you want a very power rough rock react to all the Hullabaloo live at le Zenith in Paris in 2001, they were fantastic, react to Microcuts and Space Dementia in this particular GIG, you will never regret it !!!!..... Update Citizen Erased (hullabaloo act) is a pure gem

@@svKrajec I was a huge early fan, Saw them five times between 2000 and 2004, support them from their first tour for Showbizz , we were 800 people for one of their first concert in france, and saw them became huge couple month after, they practice for Origin of simetry tour in summer festival and I saw them a couple days before they recorded the Hullabaloo DVD in Paris, and saw them two times for Absolution tour.... since Black holes and revelations, due to their success they reduced the number of gigs and it became more difficult to buy tickets for their concerts (sold out quick and n concert in m area) since Resistance and their more commercial stuff I can't listen to them, I try but it's beyond my tastes ;)
