Cleaning the Binocular prisms will make your view clearer without the fog or cloudy aspect that accumulates over a long period of time on the Haag-Streit binoculars.
Just take care to make identifying marks so that you can return the prism assembly to the exact same position that it was before. If not, you may have to adjust the alignment by loosening and tightening the smaller screws to move the prisms while looking through the binoculars on a focus rod.
