The bigger focal length requires bigger assembly and stand. For the objective try using 100mm dai a bit easier for a accesories. You may try for 150mm too, not readily available though. Try ordering lenses online for chromatic doublet ...for 70mm, cost around 80 dollars in IndiaMart lens supplier. Try finding eyepiece of say ..suitable one starting from 4mm to 20mm.
It needs a stand for proper viewing....and try using achromatic lens objective lens if possible to avoid refraction. The barlow combination works fine.
Hi Debesh, As per our previous conversation, I found some lense from online shopping. Objective lens- dia 100, FL-600mm/60cm. For eye piece- concave lens- dia 50mm. FL-15cm, 20cm, 25cm, 30cm, 50cm. For front lens 100 mm dia , I must not have paid more than 5 USD few years back, I do not remember exactly. But these cheap lens have chromatic aberration problem, which you can decrease by reducing the aperture size by 40%..... by using paper cover around edges.... gives a sharper view also. Try to find 150 mm dia cheaper lens, you would be able to get 90 mm effective aperture after correction.
The eye piece focal length has to be smaller. Try to have lenses of smaller for eye piece. The big one 25cm may be better used for Front Lens. If you happen to be in South Asia...these lenses are for less than 100 Rupees each...Cheers...!!
This is ought to be math only I guess. I get as much as 15x with objective of 75cm and 5cm eye piece first. And the DIY barlow doubles it....!! I suggest you re-do this video. Either add words or put text on the screen. Is a "Barlow Lens" merely the concave lens OR is it the collective set of three? I've searched this on Google and got both those answers. I'd also love to see the MATH behind telescopes. If we know the focal length of all our lenses, then there is a math formula to design this without trial and error. -- Finally, WHY would anyone want this? Your Title says it's a "zoom" device, but what I hear you saying is this is simply a FOCUSING device. A true Zoom telescope can have variable magnification. It can be 30X, 60X, 45X, 42.8X. I don't think this is what you have.

Thanks for the video sir
but mere paas time kam h and chashme ki dukan se jaldi lenses mil jaayenge
so can you pls tell what sholud be the power
+ve or -ve????
+Sandeep Kumar Try bying these lens in science lab...but not in Chasme ki dukan....they will confuse you even more.
sir everyone is saying 100mm dia bohot zyada hai
can you pls give me other measurement for same magnification
Where we can buy that kind of lens?
Try them in online shops...or science lab for kids.
Can i get to buy 60 cm focal length radius of 6 ' inch. Can you give me lens price. I want to buy in center of Kathmandu.
hi ,is it necessary that all lenses for Barlow should have same focal length .
amit Singh Not necessary...try different combinations...!!
what will be the requirements, if I want to watch up to 10 to 15 kms distance. Or watch the craters moon clearly.
Try having 4" dia dia 100cm focal length front lens, and make barlow as in the video with 2 convex and one concave of 2" dia or smaller the better with focal length 5cm or less always better...!
From where we can by this lenses??
Science labs !
You can to by alotof lens of weak telescope and you can asembly this lens you obten very telescope very hight distance show
please sir, can you tell me the focal lingth of the front lense and the concave lense
Around 80cm focal length and dia 4" convex lens.
Nice
how you made lenses
dai eso sample ko photo haru ni haldida hunthyo if possible
Shall try to put sample soon, but that itself becomes a big project, shall prepare a tripod stand first .... Thanks..!

sir maine lance shop pe ye sari details de k "Concave convex lanc, focal length 70 cm, Dia 6.7"
to shopkeeper puchh rha h k lance ki power kya du, + ya -
kya du?
ab mai usko kya bolu plz reply Sir
Power nahi chaye he.... aap science lab wali dukan pe ja ke pucho...ow aap ko sahi samam de ga....! Kahin aap chasme ke dukan to nahi gayen....oh samajh na hi payega..... Cheers. Just hunt for a science lab ..they shall give you the right stuff..... Cheers...!
thank you sir, for reply
ha mai chasme ki shop pe hi gya tha, fir kis shop pe jau hmare yha to sirf chasme ki shop pe hi lance mil skte hai
Aap online shop pe dikho.... ho sakta hey...... Milega... Cheers..!
How to make eyepeice
Shall get back to you soon, but if you see the entire video, or other video in my playlist it is there.
what is the focal length of the objective ?
ARSLAN ASGHAR It is 100cm focal length and 4" dia objective length. With this DIY barlow the apparent objective focal length becomes almost 2x100 cm.
sir...can you give me the info about focal lenght of all lenses
Focal length front lens 4" dia around 70-100 cm, two convex 2" dia 5cm focal length, concave 2" dia - 5cm focal length
Hi🙏👍🔔🔔👌😎
Sir yo lens haru butwal ma kaha painxa? Please reply!
+AMAN pathak Do not really know...!!
will lens from the opticians work?
Thanks
With a 30x zoom, you can see the rings of Saturn, can't you ?
Yes you can.... but if your front lens is bigger, then the viewing gets definitely better.
Debesh's Music DIY and Alternative Yoga EVnR Thank you. Could you tell me how much do you pay lents where you live ?
For front lens 100 mm dia , I must not have paid more than 5 USD few years back, I do not remember exactly. But these cheap lens have chromatic aberration problem, which you can decrease by reducing the aperture size by 40%..... by using paper cover around edges.... gives a sharper view also. Try to find 150 mm dia cheaper lens, you would be able to get 90 mm effective aperture after correction.
can I find these lens from online
Sir, I do not understand the last part
Need to transcribe it to English...as I am not native an English speaker.... Hope I find time soon.... Cheers...!
Ayúdame por favor
Solo cuéntame sobre el último video porque no lo entiendo
can you be more specific about the eye piece...?
does it contain any lens or just a ring?
plzz sir answer, it's urgent🙏🏼
It has lenses...please watch the video again.
You didn’t watch video !!!!!
@@hiden1980 I had written ' it's urgent' 2 years ago and now you're asking me this 😂
btw thanks for replying on my comment 😊
so good
can you use lenses out of projection tv's?
Pls. check the focal length...better if they are less than 5cm..! .The lower the focal length...the thicker the lens are...!
Se ve muy buen contenido. Pero si fuese en español sería fantástico.
what will happen if the focal length is more in Barlow lens. 25cm instead of 5cm. plz suggest
The eye piece focal length has to be smaller. Try to have lenses of smaller for eye piece. The big one 25cm may be better used for Front Lens. If you happen to be in South Asia...these lenses are for less than 100 Rupees each...Cheers...!!
I need some help
yeah, can u see the Mars too
No demo
How it s 30x
This is ought to be math only I guess. I get as much as 15x with objective of 75cm and 5cm eye piece first. And the DIY barlow doubles it....!! Not only that the right combination of my of 2 convex and one concave gives a crisp and sharper images. Pls. Try it on your own too. Stay blessed and happy.
I did the math the math says focal length 5cm
But the combine focal length gets smaller, and the combination helps to expand the field of view, decreses the chromatic issues as well.
I don't actually understand this still. ,, 5cm convex and concave in contact should've cancelled each other in theory
@@debeshbhattarai chromatic issue can be solved by reducing objective opening I tried it much better results
@@funtv5693 It does, but to helps expand the horizon. The smaller aperture showed me the gas cloud of Jupiter as well with my DIY. But lately I bought 70mm achromat for objective. Had a good view of Crescent Venus. Now waiting for the cloud less night to poke into Jupiter and Saturn again. Do watch for my Moon shots in my channel with achromat. Cheers....!@
@@debeshbhattarai nepal ma kati parne raicha achromats ???
Dimensions pls
Most of the dimension are there with the drawings.... but for you focal length of convex and concave lens 5cm only. The combine focal length concave plus convex and convex again... the shortest focal length would be 2 to 2.5 cm. The attachment PVC union 50mm inner dia, and the pvc pipe 50mm some 20cm long. Hope this would do...!
This is a DIY... and this video is meant for the people to understand the basics of Barlow lens and build one if they have time.... Cheers..!
Thank again
Greetings from egypt
Lenses lene kaha se h
You can buy it from School science Lab..try it in your area.
good
Lance kahan milenge
Any Science lab for schools...ask for concave and convex lense with focal points as in the video and they are not expensive.. please note.
what the hell he just made some shit
sir kitni dur tak dikhai ja sakta hai??
ये टेलिस्कोप् से आप्को orion nebula तक् आराम् से दिख्ता हे... a good DIY on Astronomy... Cheers..!

+tkout batna These are for small DIY enthusiast...and cheaper assemblies...thanks for comment.
thx for reply sir
It's not clear
+Sureshgouda patil You can follow my blog at Debesh Directs...!!
I will for sure. Thanks. I need to study a bit more to answer your queries too. It ought to be quite an Enlightenment.
