    Your attitude alone makes your videos fun to watch. Reminds me of why we do what we do. 🤙

    30 psi is a lot for the front

    You can hear that it's windy but that little cover did a solid job. Roscoe killed that climb! Really stepping up the production game with all the new angles, tripod setup etc. Good stuff

    I like that you put the effort into taking the camera a head then going back and riding up towards the camera to give a real view of you riding. Great camera work.

    Heck yeah this was awesome! I live in Golden and ride North Table all the time. The climb you did is excellent and I have yet to clean that rock garden, so it’s sick to see you crush it. The Mesa Top/Waterfall descent you took is not my first choice, it’s just so steep and chunky esp on a Hardtail. If you find yourself back at N Table I’d recommend to turn right instead of left after Rim Rock and climb Mesa Top to Tilting Mesa and then the south leg of North Table Loop back around to where you climbed and take that the rest of the way down to Lithic and back to the parking lot. Much nicer descent and beautiful views of Golden and the foothills.

    I’m 205 lbs ride tubeless 30mm ID rims on 27.5x2.6 tires… tire pressure 22 psi F 20 psi R. You can run much lower pressures on your roscoe and reap benefits. My hardtail I run I have 38 ID rims with 2.8 front and 2.6 rear and run 16 psi in both without squirm and rim strikes

    • @taylor8109

      Experiment and see what you like but def recommend lower than what you’re running. I know it’s hard to fathom after you’ve been riding tubes so long

    Picked up my roscoe 9 today, you helped convince me! Upgraded from a dual sport 3 and wow, it’s on a whole other level. The brakes are so powerful, the shifting is buttery smooth and no latency in comparison. The ride, it’s like I’m on clouds lol!!

    I'm with you on that jump, I have no doubt you'd have cleared it but really it was the landing that was sketchy. Slanted downhill with rocks and loose sand, not great. The folks who jump that safely will do more of a bunny hop to clear the whole thing, they don't use a lot of speed to do that. You can always let some of that air out of the tires when you get to the top of the climb for a nice ride down. You can't do that where I am, most trails are up and down the whole time.

    That downhill ride sounds as if you are on a jet. Very smooth ride, nice ride overall. Just proof how capable the duo (bike and rider). God bless brother, keep it up 👍🙏

    Great job on the rock gardens, that tech climb is a pain to clear. nearly 30psi is actually a lot for the front on a tubeless bike. I'm 250lbs and run 24 front/27 rear most of the time. I'd definitely run 30 in the back on a hardtail though.

    • @marcstolk6682
      @marcstolk6682 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      yeh i was raising an eyebrow on the 30psi up front. I run 25\27 upfront and 30 in the rear (29x2.4) - I'm approximately 90kg\200lbs.

    Nice riding! Love the multiple angles on the climb, really shows how steep that is. I think Rim Rock has been closed a few times but it is super fun when it's open!

    B you need a drone for these types of trails where there’s no trees to obstruct it.. That way you won’t have to be taking those extra walks to set up your shots.. Plus all the other dope footage that will be available to you..

    Good call on the jump... wasn't worth the potential wreck. That climb... I figured you could do it; you're pretty buff and a lot younger than me, so I knew you'd make it. I MIGHT be able to make it up that on my ebike, but that'd be about it.

    Dude 30 psi is a lot. Try putting in less next time. I run 24 rear and 22 front and that’s on a skinnier 2.3 29er tire. I believe you have 2.6s. Try it next time.

      @@MattyActive ooh

    • @thesilversender
      @thesilversender 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@MattyActive you will get better traction with lower PSI. The tires will conform to the terrain more and help you up the hill. Especially on that chunky trail. Also, you should try some tire inserts. I prefer Rimpact but Cushcore are good too. Cushcore are quite a bit heavier though.

    • @flrn6233
      @flrn6233 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was about to say the same thing. I use fast rolling tires, and with that pressure I have no grip at all. 30 PSI is more for street and the front suspension is kind of deceiving about the grip. With a rigid fork you can realize right away when you start losing grip, but with a suspension, ups... it's more complicated, you need to lock the fork to experiment the grip better. He needs to try puting some flags on straight line and try to go fast right left passing through those flags... he's gonna realize right away when he lose grip at different tire pressure.

    • @kwaktak
      @kwaktak 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, you want the tire to be able to deform rather that act as a bumper so you don’t go down those rock gardens like a pinball. They trick is not to go too low and risk denting your rims.
