I’ve always noticed so many dudes from the hood have crazy talent but just come from areas and environments where they can’t shine or focus on it, case in point Vince staples is a crip from Long Beach yet his music is layered, has a super successful first session show. There was a dude in my hood name bg and he literally did portraits all our teenage years. Not just simple portraits but like high level black and white charcoal portraits. He got killed on a bunk drug deal. Just another talent lost to the algorithm in my hood. The ones that didn’t get killed get ptsd and trauma instead to deal with. 💯
The entertainment business as a whole, really. But yeah, I used to want to be in the music industry, but I realized how much weirdness and shadiness goes on even on a local level.
I understand that many streaming companies began producing more short, limited series due to obstacles like COVID-19 and the actor and writer strikes. However, I believe The Vince Staples show should have been a bit longer.
I hope he does what he wants. His spirit is conflicted and who’s wouldn’t be in that shady ass industry. Vince getting out of the way before the table legs get kicked out and it all collapses
Please all hip hop fans...that's not the migos flow...its either the 3.6.mafia flow or...nevermind...migos didnt invent shit lol..have a great weekend ppl
He is mid, fans make u look incredible. I see why he wants to retire. He's not that good as people say in my opinion. It's a million rappers that are better, his label makes him look relevant, he's not💯
Album is ass…and I love Vince…but having that white girl sing over nothing even matters cover is nasty work. He needs to do whatever else he has planned
vince my goat getting the love he deserves
Who cares
I don’t think he is, he deserves more
Tyler was never just some shock guy. He always had methods to the madness with a meaning. That's why I stuck around 🎉
And the production was advanced even on Bastard and Goblins
Vince is just amazing as a creative person. Tofu is amazing too

A lot of people don’t know how sincerely fucked up the music business is
Oh it’s bad that’s the reason my uncle left the music industry in 2004
The entertainment business as a whole, really. But yeah, I used to want to be in the music industry, but I realized how much weirdness and shadiness goes on even on a local level.
No u just want to believe weird stuff nothing is going on. They Are positive people wake up
They Are positive happy people wake up
@@Mindoniconmaybe your brain washed, these people are money hungry and will try to get money in whatever way, and i mean WHATEVER way
It just came out gang 😭😭😭
Ain't watched the video, huh
Man it’s really a great year for music
Currently my album of the year
Shoutout Vince man
Wsp
RAMONA PARK BROKE MY HEART
completed the three-peat.
Ik the past three projects been masterpieces
The vince staples show is really good
This album is fire only skips are the interludes
they make the full album experience beautiful though
I actually like them
Nahhh the interludes are fine
The last interlude/track on the album is the best track on the album. Like some prog rock or something
Agreed
Im not bit even a big Migos fan but to say their careers never flourished is crazy
He’s white
He’s such a genius, the new album is fire too
9/10 album it’s fire fire maybe a future classic
Give vince his flowers bruh hes been dropping classics
ik everyone says this abt every drop, not a Vince staples listener myself, but it’s album of the year so far.
Big ups to him for not letting them keep him in the box. The sky is the limit now
I like how you got the instrumentals slappin in the back
I just listen to this album 5 times already when i'm taking a nap while i'm sunshowering.
Tf is sunshowering
You ain't no sunflower
ngl maybe they are a sunflower bro someone def not a strong move to take happiness advice from someone literally named mental health problems
Check out his 'Freeman' track on Dark Times.
Bruh frfr dude is pulling a frank ocean with that 💀
Etoufee is an amazing song and that can potentially be his next hit
He's saving himself from the industry
Its crazy because he's only been getting better.
That Migos statement was crazy cause they ended up switching it up and getting even bigger
I understand that many streaming companies began producing more short, limited series due to obstacles like COVID-19 and the actor and writer strikes. However, I believe The Vince Staples show should have been a bit longer.
the jokic of rap
The West Coast is killing it this year
He did it💪
Album of the Year contender for me
Liked, commented without watching. If you know, you know. Outsiders playing catch up
I hope he does what he wants. His spirit is conflicted and who’s wouldn’t be in that shady ass industry. Vince getting out of the way before the table legs get kicked out and it all collapses
The album literally just came out and there's already a video about how people love the album. How do I have time to listen to an album so late/early?
It’s only 30mins
It’s an easy listen
You completely misspoke about the migos. They had at least three separate runs
No way you photoshopped the ratings lmaoo 0:03
Bro is a geek dawg
I think he’s still signed to Motown so idk about independent other than that great video
Vince isn’t independent. He signed to Motown.
Great video
Wait people are enjoying this album? What song?
Migos type flow isn't new, old memphis rap
They definitely gave it new life though
Almost all of ofwgkta crew turn into popsters, unless earl, he still on rap and havent change that
😂😂😂😂 crazy new flow they were just ripping off three 6 mafia
Saying migos career never flourished is crazy .. I get what you were trying to say but, nah
Fairly certain Vince is never gonna make music again but ok.
*couldnt care less
I call cap on Vince not wanting to be rapper
He doesn't wanna devote his entire life to being a rapper.
Please all hip hop fans...that's not the migos flow...its either the 3.6.mafia flow or...nevermind...migos didnt invent shit lol..have a great weekend ppl
Couldn't* care less
I think I am the only person who thinks Vince is very mid!
He is mid, fans make u look incredible. I see why he wants to retire. He's not that good as people say in my opinion. It's a million rappers that are better, his label makes him look relevant, he's not💯
Yes!
I feel it
This is a bad take and you should feel ashamed, Vince is goated
Album is ass…and I love Vince…but having that white girl sing over nothing even matters cover is nasty work. He needs to do whatever else he has planned
I’ll never forget the first time I heard hive
