OGXBox Cerbios BFM USB Softmod Installer

- First of, excuse my voice. Pretty sick atm so yeah....
This is the first USB softmod installer which uses and installs Cerbios! So with it you get CCI support and all the other nice things which Cerbios has to offer!
It uses the same save game exploid files like the one from Rocky5.
If you plan to do a frsh install, you need a 256MB usb stick or modded xbox360 memory unit. If you are already on a softmod just copy the 21585554 folder to your UDATA folder and launch the install.xbe which is inside that folder. (BACKUP your 21585554 first, then delete it and copy my folder then over!)

I've try on my Xbox 1.6 won't work 😢 help please.
First of it works on EVERY XBox version when you know your Kernel. And in case your XBox ain't boot anymore and you have no eeprom backup -> Get a modchip. All that being said, there is no public download anymore cuz of to many n00bs crashed there system simply because of not reading the included txt/pdf files (I just included them cuz it looks better right?). So please, request help from ppl who still spread DL links to this. (YT is also the totaly wrong place to request help as I have written in my profile here)

WOW, I didn't think something like this would be possible! If I'm understanding correctly, and please correct me if I'm wrong, this is 100% softmod without requiring a TSOP? Also, is it 1.6 friendly? Super excited for this, thanks for this upload!
It is a softmod like the one from Rocky5 (No modchip nor TSOP needed). It will also work with any version of the xbox.

Other than CCI support, what's the advantage you have in a softmodded console in comparison to a rocky5 one?
@@rdmrocha Up to 16TB of HDD space, custom into, custom splash screen (with addional tool), easy to change dashboard in the cerbios.ini or by changing the evoxdash.xbe, no shadow C (Which can be a plus but can also be a downside depening on how you use your xbox and how much securetey you need). That all being said. I don't compete with Rocky5. This here is a option for advanced users. For the majority of user which are ok with XISO support and 2TB drives I recomend using Rocky5's softmod.
I have a 1.0 Xbox running the latest Cerbios now. I thought I wanted to TSOP it but I can't find any way to do it without a disc. I don't have a single device with a disc drive in my home anymore and I reallly don't want to purchase one + dvds and delay this project any longer.
I have a 2TB HDD I want to put in it and that's it. I read a lot about TSOP and thought that would be great (also a lot of online users make you feel bad for going for a softmod so I figured I'd try to go all the way)
I think I've hit a wall. I really don't know where to go from here without a DVD. I just want to upgrade the HDD and be able to FTP games to it.
Should I just abandon the TSOP idea for now?

It will allow you to add a 16tb drive even it makes no real seens. YOu also have CCI support and everthing else what you have when flashing it to a chip. Only thing you don't have is higher UDMA2 since this is set by the MS bios. SO if you like to make use of higher UDMA modes, you need to flashy our TSOP or go and buy a modchip.

I was going to do 4TB personally but was just asking if it broke the 2TB limit since it's Cerbios. I've never got to use it yet and stoked to try! Seen some amazing things from the Cerbios team, Resurgent, and you!
@@legendofcho You can do 4TB No problem. Install the softmod and it will make a backup of your eeprom. Copy the backup to your PC. Then use Fatxplorer 3.0 from Eaton to set up your HDD on your PC. After that lock the HDD using your eeprom backup.
i ran this and now my 1.1 og xbox wont boot. i was using softmodded with unleash x. did i brick my console?

i fixed it! i had to boot xbox hdm on an old IDE based motherboard. i dumped the eeprom with pico and then erased all the partitions. back in business!@@SweetDarkDestiny
i have a issue after install this bios, now the fan become so louder,¿there is a way to fix this?
Funny, there isn't a public donwload anymore since I took it offline and links are only by request for pro users which can help them self. But basicly the answer to that question is in the video. Edit the cerbios.ini on C.
@@SweetDarkDestiny in the ini file are written this default values ; Fan Speed 0 = Default, 10-100 = Manual Control, Supports increments of 2's

¿ what numbers i have to change here to make the fan run the most less possible let's say 10 or 20%? i don't want to fry my xbox processor

@@robh1521 You can unpack the INSTALLER:zip and FTP the "21585554" to UDATA (Delete the old 21585554 folder first if you are on Rockys softmod or copy it to E:\XXX as backup). The load a file explorer and launch E:\UDATA\21585554\000000000000\install.xbe to gain access to shdow c. Then use the right option for your ORIGINAL kernel which you can find in the MS dashboard.
I am a complete noob at this stuff, can Cerbios be used for overclocking?
Tbh, when you are a n00b, you should not OC at all.

@@SpartanAtlas_ Thats true but as long as you cant flash your TSOP or Modchip externaly with an USB flasher in case you screw up the OC you should think about OC. Anyway, to answer your question, you can OC any bios but let me say, you gain almost nothing at all. Here and there is a game you gain maybe 1 or 2 FPS but thats it. It's not realy worth taking the risk.

How do I upgrade the stock hard drive with this now? Do i still have to use chimp and hotswap it?
You could also use Fatexplorer to build a new hdd as long as you have an eeprom backup.
