    Thanks for reviewing my coaster Jonny! I especially appreciate the feedback and plan to implement some of the feedback soon. The empty area in the front is supposed to be water (dirty water). I forgot to add instructions for that in my submission. I did struggle with the lighting. In fact, at one point and time, I had those red lights all over the place. It looked pretty nasty, so I removed them. I guess I missed the red light in the water area :) Not sure why it is so tempting to light up those red rocks. I did submit a workshop review back in October. However, I can submit another one. Thanks again!

      I think most people get the red light idea because of Big Thunder Mountain. At least I know that's why I've used them from time to time. One of my all-time favorite childhood coasters. I still personally like them in mine shaft rides and to light up some of the sides of a mountain. Great coaster btw!

      @@Patman494 I thought the same thing, especially with the "splash down into water" that Michael wanted to be part of the ride there. Haven't seen the coaster run yet, but the scenery is awesome.

      This is an excellent coaster.
      Realistic stats, good capacity, very nice themeing. I can't really find anything to improve.
      (maybe add catwalks on the brake section before the water drop and the station? But it's not really necessary)
      Don't forget to remove the extra rocks way out of the blueprint if you haven't already done that. ;)
      (you can easily see them when Johhny places the coaster in the beginning of the video)

      Great work Michael, wonderful attention to detail. Only concern is the lighting for the water tower which should be seen better when entering the ride (maybe put a campsite next to it). Get your workshop updated, you deserve a higher rating than Builder.

    That drop/misdirection was OUTSTANDING! Amazing pacing, and just because it was a family coaster, you sure didn't hold back on the thrills. Oh, and I love something as simple as not having brakes on curves unless it's a tyre drive, so thank you. Man, is this impressive. This has to be one of my favourite coasters Johnny has posted this year, no hyperbole.

    Simply superb. Love everything about this creation. It has that Disney's Thunder Mountain coaster vibe to it without making a total recreation. I do agree that the pool of water behind the sign is an excellent idea and looks great. Staglamite? No such thing, Jonny. Stalactites hang from the roof and form stalagmites below them over hundreds of years from the limestone in the water drops. Yeah, the red spotlight in the water pool looks weird and out of place. Even if it was just rocks, the colorful doesn't work.

  • @bobblebardsley

    The composition on this is beautiful, I completely agree with moving the sign back into that empty area behind that front-right curve of track, then it's more self-containing and fills that space too, other than that I love the overall art style and it is very much reminiscent of The Wild Coyote & The Running Chicken.

    • @bobblebardsley
      @bobblebardsley 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Love the attention to detail on the side mineshafts etc, the sections of track that are only there as scenery and misdirects, I love that they continue through the mountain, it's not just one short piece of track purely for the misdirect. Same with the siding track on the back of the mountain, everything looks like it would make sense no matter which angle you see it from, nothing is just a fake-out front. And especially some of the timing, the coaster passing over you on the way out of the station, and the water flowing just as you're climbing the lift hill, it has really great continuity and flow from one train's ride to the next. If all of that is deliberate, that's some really great planning and building.

    I like this, it's compact and fun. Yes it could been a tad longer and the name throws me off without having any dynamite based triggered effects. The pyro/explosion from dynamite triggers would make it more exciting of an experience thrill ride. I kinda agree with Jonny but for that centerpiece he speaks of. A linked explosion that causes the water tower to go because it seems naked. P.S. Not all rides need an oversized flashy sign to sell the ride, just an environmental structural design. Nice practical design for any major theme park, overall this is something I would totally hop on. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

    • @mcarman173
      @mcarman173 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I included two explosions in the blueprint and speakers at key points on the track so the riders hear the explosions. I placed one of the explosions at the base of the water tower. That explosion starts the water tower animation sequence.

    I think the red light is 100% because of Big Thunder Mountain. (that's why I feel like I have lit up my western coasters with red lights before)

    can you in one of your upcoming park spotlights can you show for those who are just starting to play PlanCo what camera controls you use to make it look like you are actually walking around as a guest because I have played some of PlanCo before and can't figure out exactly how you are doing that. I do wish you could select and take control of a guest in a park a walk around like you would in say GTA as that would make exploring the park even easier and more fun. Thanks Johnny5Alive for this great PlanCo community

    somehow I really think it would have been better to deactivate the water, when train goes down. I don't think, it is realistic to throw that much water on the riders, even in a hot region. And for a good Blueprint I don't like anyone talking about coaster lenght. With object limitation it can be a quality or coasterlenght question, and then I really prefer quality.

    Hey there Johhny.
    I am not aloud to get Discord and I know you going over a spotlight from a comment section is really rare.
    But I do have a few things i hope you are able to check out later on. I do have really low building skills and would like feedback is possible. My Steam user is Dap9040. I reccommend checking out The Forest or Mountain Coaster.
    Thanks.
