Air Handling Unit Replacement - 72 Hour Shutdown

The challenge was to replace a 20,000cfm air handling unit located in a hospital basement during a 72 hour long weekend shutdown and have it running for surgeries Tuesday AM. Cox Engineering and Custom Air Solutions designed a hybrid modular and KD unit and scheduled teams of sheet metal worker, pipe fitters and trade partners to work around the clock to get the job done.
