Hey yall it's the start of a brand new year. We're starting this year off with a pantry clean out challenge. Using up what we already have and try to shop a little bit less.

Oh and add cut up hotdogs to mac and cheese, and or eggs and scramble! Yum!
You can always use the pasta from the Mac and cheese box for your pasta meals since you are low in your pantry. Then you can use it up and not have to buy other pasta. Keep the powdered cheese packet and make cheese sauce for veggies, stir into soups or shake on popcorn.

Used to do this in college. I'd put butter and parmesan on the noodles and the cheese powder over popcorn.

I grew up with mystery cans - my father worked for a firm that imported canned goods from Asia. Back in the 60s, we often had white peaches or lychees for dessert - although sometimes it turned out to be veg!

Back in the 80s when I was a teen, I remember my mom making a pot roast that was different from her 'regular' roast and she would mix a brown gravy packet with a can of tomato soup and Lipton soup mix and put it over the roast and it was really good. It was different than what we were used to but it was good.

Hi my friend! I love that you keep your Christmas decor up into January! We took ours down a couple days after Christmas but only because we went out of town (me & the hubby) for New Years and didn’t wanna come back to that on January 2nd! I loved this video. It is inspiring me to make things from my pantry and freezer items. We have to cut spending somewhere and I have to not over spend on food! And I have enough nut butters probably for this whole year so I won’t be buying any of that!! 😂😂😂

I'm working on using up pantry items myself. Had a box of mac and cheese to use up. I put a can of tuna in there and some crushed pepper to make a "tuna casserole".
Oohh crushed red pepper. Love the spice! Never thought about adding that in there. Thanks for the tip 😉
Hello! It's been a while since I watched a video of yours!! I do LOVE the idea of pantry eating and that's what I plan to do as well for January for sure and just be more mindful of what foods we have at home and use what we have.
I will take down my decor January 6th once kids are back in school again. For now I am still enjoying it :D

Hey Jaime! I’m going to be shopping my freezer over the weekend, I have so much to go through and can’t fit anymore in my freezer so time to cook it up lol! I leave my Christmas decorations up till the Epiphany January 6th which is also the start of Mardi Gras season the 12th night. Happy New Year sweet friend! ❤❤
