The range of guests so far, in expertise and interests, has been such a great way to launch this podcast. I haven't been knowledgeable about any of the guests and have finished each episode with new awareness and appreciation. Be proud, Hitch!

Awesome episode, great podcast! If you're ever open to the idea of multiple guests on an episode i would like to see an episode with the Optic Apex team, "Dropped"" "Knoqd", and "SkittleCakes". Each of them have a lot of stories to tell about their rise to the top (they finished 2nd at the most recent Lan Championship). They're all young dudes but great personalities.
I remember watching MYSTIC7's content back in the day when I was addicted to clash. Seeing a lot of the videos he did inspired me to do some crazy things in clash. Happy that he continued to do well after clash I was never much of a pokemon go guy even though I grew up with playing their main line games.

Melee i was an OG Mystic7 (I was 12 when I started watching Mystic7) i watched him when he was at 100K-150K Subscribers then the video where he graduated highschool getting 1M subs then changing to clash royale and then from there he went to Vlogs & Pokémon GO and 7 years later its great to see Mystic7 doing well now that Im 21 im happy that I grew Up with Mystic7 and now i want to watch him again like good times
is hitch holding a notebook or tablet at the beginning of the video? i swear it looks like a notebook but i saw him like swiping or zooming out. anybody knows
Hitch I’m watching this to support you but you have too many connections in the world to not understand how to make this work. You need to get the heavy hitters for your first 10 episodes like Scump, Hecz, Mang0, DrDisrespect, Jack, etc and then you go off and get people that are part of niche communities that have no crossover with your core fanbase. You can’t say that you want this show to succeed and then choose people you think people will like when your numbers show you who people will like
I’m definitely going to interview them! I want this podcast to be a little different than a typical gaming podcast though so I’m trying to branch out. I appreciate you supporting
Scump would bring numbers just bcz Scump. But what else does Hitch have to ask Hecz or Scump that everyone hasn’t heard a million times. Doc would be good. But Hitch is also a big hitter, he’s been with Optic forever now and people will tune in too see him interview and maybe these guests will bring eyes to Optic that weren’t ever going to be there before. He can always throw a Scump or Big T in anytime lol.
@@j3n1us let me articulate myself a little bit better, so you understand what I’m saying from a marketing standpoint. The way the algorithm works is if you create new content from a new channel and you’re consistently hitting a lot of views, you will automatically get thrown into algorithm of that market, so if he categorize as gaming or categorized as entertainment it’s going to get pushed to not only fans of optic fans of those people he’s interviewing, fans of people who have similar interest to the people is interviewing, etc. I was just saying the strategy of doing big early and then tapering off is easier because you’re starting from a high point to get those big videos circulating early
