Nice video, definitely something about the old GS , sound great and handle surprisingly well considering their weight, look forward to more videos as you get to know the old GS better.
I love my Unit Garage restomodded 1150, just fitted a set of Wilbers shocks and it really allows me to use the potential of the bike. It's a nice bike to ride up to 100-120km/h in the twisties if you're not pushing it too hard, but the design has it's limits. That said, if you're looking for a casual travel bike, where you would be soaking up the environment most of the time and where character counts the most, it's quite a blast. I did two 5.000km camping trips with it now. Such a cool sight sitting Infront of your tent, having a beer and watching this great analogue whale :)

Habe auch eine R1150 GS. Ist echt ein gutes allround-Motorrad. Von einfach gemütlich in der Gegend rumfahren bis ordentlich Gas geben, ist alles möglich mit der GS. 85 PS sind reichlich bei dem Drehmoment von 98 Nm.
