Why you MUST visit Whitby | Vegan travel UK

- Join us on our day trip to Whitby, UK, a place you MUST visit.
First up we visit the 199 steps, made famous by Bram Stoker's novel, Dracula.
Then we walk a small section of The Cleveland Way; a beautiful, cliff top walk with dramatic views of the Yorkshire Coast.
All of the sea air made us very hungry so we head in search of vegan food in Whitby. We were very lucky to stumble across a fish and chip takeaway with an entirely vegan menu AND an ice cream parlour with multiple vegan options.
In the afternoon we sat at Bram Stoker's memorial bench and visited the gothic ruins of Whitby Abbey.

Hey 👋 a huge part of the Yorkshire Coastline has pretty tall cliffs, including in and around Whitby. For white cliffs and more turquoise waters, you could also check out Flamborough which isn't too far away ☺️

Hello, we got the pea fritter from Robertson's Chips Away (in Whitby). If you are travelling through Scarborough though, definitely check out Capplemans too as they have a bigger vegan menu!
