Hmm you're right -- this does matter. I just started two days ago and I used whatever rune for whatever. I watched your video and I went from not being able to beat a level (I had one monster left at step 3/3) and now having three monsters left (the one I runed up correctly having full health!). Edit now passed three levels... and I only changed one monster's runes. Wow imagine changing them all... damn I'll complete the game by tonight. Thanks man!

Love this man, i try to help newer players when i can. I just hit a wall myself and am delving into your videos for help. Have a slow gb10 team trying to get my db10 together. Giants team is Eladriel 6* leader then shannon bernard 5* Vero Bella 6* its slow but rarely fails, for dragons im building spectra and just today finished my sig fusion also have 6* chloe and baretta. Would love to get in touch with ya to finish optimizing and Toa and Raid progression.

I been doing it all wrong :( but I've gotten pretty far just by leveling all monsters and runes. Problems is now, I"m sorta at a stopping point.. All my monsters are high levels but been using the slots wrong :( grrr so much time stones used :( Thank you for the video !

Great video. So this raises a lot of questions. Like for my sieq I know now to get maybe fatal with crit rate in slot 4. Do I just run Giants until I get that? It seems a low possibility considering all the different runes that can drop and with things other than crit rate. I've kept my eye open for rage runes with crit rate but haven't seen many.
+alcoyot I'd personally keep doing giants, chance to get other types of runes, mystical scrolls and rainbowmon is always more exciting than farming scenarios.

Hey TMG, a buddy of mine got me into this game from Clash of Clans a couple weeks ago. I've got 2 lvl 35's, one of which is Eshir (got him from a wish i think). He seems pretty good on his own, but what Mons should i develop to help him be even better? I've also got a 4 star Light viking. I haven't heard anything good about him but his skills seems ok to me? Any tips with him? Vikings skill up super fast and he might be maxed with skills already.
So this is semi helpfull i understand every other word. But you are using a lot of terminology that as an uber new player i don't know what the are. What is a AOE or a TOA? What a bout the stars on the ruins is how much money should i invest in a 3 star ruin? should i power it up to +3 or more? Maybe cause i haven't played any rpgs before but i am having trouble following you. :-(
Hi TMG, thanks for the video., I've been in the game for almost a year. I've developed and evolved and learned a few things. However, I have to say that this video presentation on Runes is fantastic. It's given me a new dimension of understanding. Yes I still feel myself to be NOOBish for various aspects in the game. Thanks to your video, I have to basically do huge spring cleaning of my rune stock pile. I almost always find myself reaching close to the max. It's also given me a different and newly motivated look at my mons. I've found myself to do fairly good but could never understand how some of my other friends rank and progress further or faster. NOW I get how strong the runes hold key. Part of my success is based on luck and others on how I've developed. If you're ever curious to check out my box - my IGN: PsiBear -- just a disclaimer viewing my profile tends to provoke salty and jelly.. (Snicker). -- if you do add me in FL - please send a note so I know as I get a lot of requests. A lot of friends wonder why I hadn't reached Guardian status, I think I know runes and development factor in. Still working on Raids getting passed 3 and getting more consistent in winning TOA / TOAH. Thanks agian.
My current game plan. Is to get 3 or 4 star runes with right substats. From scenario first. Because unlike cairos you can focus on the exact type and number rune you want and get it much more quickly. This is mainly for my support units who I want swift focus. To get mana to power them up I will run the Giants and dragons I can do now. And hopefully get a couple useful runes in that process. I will power up my current guys to +12 with their current runes and evolve everyone minimum 5*. That with the right team I should be able to take on the higher Giants etc. And finally get access to 5 star runes. But I still need some key units for my plan like the light ones.

Dear TMG, THanks a lot again for your guide! Im in 1 step of fusing sigmarus, and have a question. at the moment i have 5-6* swift blade set for him, or i have 5* only violent blade build for him (no fatal or rage unfortunately at the moment). All build are att/cd/att, with swift (4) cd 6* and violent only 5*. What would be better for him? Going to use him in dragons, AO and may be giants. with both builds 80% CR is can be achieved. BTW, we cant see the substats of the runes, when you were showing them, because of the video in the corner.

I have been inspired by your videos and tried your methods. So far I have seen nothing but success, LV. 19 clearing giants B5 with no problems on my Europe server account. My global server needs to be fixed because I fell into all the traps you mentioned as a beginner. I have considered removing all my monsters runes and optimizing my giants team to progress further and help my account out. Does this sound like a helpful idea to increase my account efficiency?
Do you provide feedback to subs in regards to their teams, runes and how to compete in GB10 and so forth? I started the game almost 1 week ago but have gotten fairly lucky with nat 5*s but I'm still a little lost on exact builds, people I need to change out ect and would love a professional input.
I know this is a year later but god damn did this came in handy. Had a level 25 account and was stuck on g6 restarted it and now blowing i am able to farm it with weaker well runed monsters
Yo motivational gamer great videos man, high quality material. My question is can you point out any "breaking points" you look out for specifically, like you mentioned 60%accuracy, is that hard cap or just a sweet spot? is 70%+ a bad thing? Are there exact points you want to have crit rate? How much speed is enough on supports? Just overall curious if there are exact figures you aim for when designing rune layouts.
I can't really answer your question fully. But in response to your example, that 60% crit rate sub stats he mentioned is what he's saying to aim for before switching a crit rate % slot 4 rune to a crit damage % slot 4 rune. Of course higher is better. as you'll notice his Zaiross had 83% crit rate. basically the closer you can get to 100% crit rate the better. That 60% sub stat crit rate isn't a cap, it's a starting point to get rid of a slot 4 crit rate rune. Hope this helps.
When I 1st started out I use to put rage runes with attk cr attk. It helped a lot with the damage for where I was. But that was before I was able to get the good cr from just the subs.
OMG after watching this now I know I should change my atk% on slot 4 for my attackers. I happened to put Atk, Atk, Atk on slot 1,4, and 6 which I found weird not dealing as much damage as other player monster does.
just this week i discover your channel and it is amazing. Tank you for the work. I have a question about the only nat 5 I get, Juno, she seems particulary hard to rune, how do you think she could go? Right now I rune her with dispair/energy hp%/cr/acc, no max runes, but my calculations are that when maxed she is going to have 100% cr and 100 acc. Thaks

My biggest problem while farming giants is to decide which rune should I keep or salle. What substats are good, which are bad for particular rune. And when rune drops, I see usage on every single one. Maybe not in every, except the ones with flat stats in slot 2,4,6 ;) Which is bad I guess ;)

I been doing it all wrong :( but I've gotten pretty far just by leveling all monsters and runes. Problems is now, I"m sorta at a stopping point.. All my monsters are high levels but been using the slots wrong :( grrr so much time stones used :( Thank you for the video !

Sorry TMG, I have a new problem! XD I have all the fusion requirements for Vero except Kumae but I don't have enough high awaken materials. I can't do B7 just yet because I only have 5*s. Should I continue farming B3-4 Hall of - or B6-7 Giants?

Great video. So this raises a lot of questions. Like for my sieq I know now to get maybe fatal with crit rate in slot 4. Do I just run Giants until I get that? It seems a low possibility considering all the different runes that can drop and with things other than crit rate. I've kept my eye open for rage runes with crit rate but haven't seen many.
+alcoyot I'd personally keep doing giants, chance to get other types of runes, mystical scrolls and rainbowmon is always more exciting than farming scenarios.

Hey TMG, a buddy of mine got me into this game from Clash of Clans a couple weeks ago. I've got 2 lvl 35's, one of which is Eshir (got him from a wish i think). He seems pretty good on his own, but what Mons should i develop to help him be even better? I've also got a 4 star Light viking. I haven't heard anything good about him but his skills seems ok to me? Any tips with him? Vikings skill up super fast and he might be maxed with skills already.
So this is semi helpfull i understand every other word. But you are using a lot of terminology that as an uber new player i don't know what the are. What is a AOE or a TOA? What a bout the stars on the ruins is how much money should i invest in a 3 star ruin? should i power it up to +3 or more? Maybe cause i haven't played any rpgs before but i am having trouble following you. :-(
AOE is area of effect, i think he said that in the vid. TOA is tower of assencions. +6 on the 3* runes

Hi TMG, thanks for the video., I've been in the game for almost a year. I've developed and evolved and learned a few things. However, I have to say that this video presentation on Runes is fantastic. It's given me a new dimension of understanding. Yes I still feel myself to be NOOBish for various aspects in the game.
Thanks to your video, I have to basically do huge spring cleaning of my rune stock pile. I almost always find myself reaching close to the max. It's also given me a different and newly motivated look at my mons.
I've found myself to do fairly good but could never understand how some of my other friends rank and progress further or faster. NOW I get how strong the runes hold key. Part of my success is based on luck and others on how I've developed.

My current game plan. Is to get 3 or 4 star runes with right substats. From scenario first. Because unlike cairos you can focus on the exact type and number rune you want and get it much more quickly. This is mainly for my support units who I want swift focus. To get mana to power them up I will run the Giants and dragons I can do now. And hopefully get a couple useful runes in that process. I will power up my current guys to +12 with their current runes and evolve everyone minimum 5*. That with the right team I should be able to take on the higher Giants etc. And finally get access to 5 star runes.
But I still need some key units for my plan like the light ones.

Im in 1 step of fusing sigmarus, and have a question. at the moment i have 5-6* swift blade set for him, or i have 5* only violent blade build for him (no fatal or rage unfortunately at the moment). All build are att/cd/att, with swift (4) cd 6* and violent only 5*. What would be better for him? Going to use him in dragons, AO and may be giants. with both builds 80% CR is can be achieved.
BTW, we cant see the substats of the runes, when you were showing them, because of the video in the corner.

I have been inspired by your videos and tried your methods. So far I have seen nothing but success, LV. 19 clearing giants B5 with no problems on my Europe server account. My global server needs to be fixed because I fell into all the traps you mentioned as a beginner. I have considered removing all my monsters runes and optimizing my giants team to progress further and help my account out. Does this sound like a helpful idea to increase my account efficiency?
Do you provide feedback to subs in regards to their teams, runes and how to compete in GB10 and so forth? I started the game almost 1 week ago but have gotten fairly lucky with nat 5*s but I'm still a little lost on exact builds, people I need to change out ect and would love a professional input.
I know this is a year later but god damn did this came in handy. Had a level 25 account and was stuck on g6 restarted it and now blowing i am able to farm it with weaker well runed monsters
Yo motivational gamer great videos man, high quality material. My question is can you point out any "breaking points" you look out for specifically, like you mentioned 60%accuracy, is that hard cap or just a sweet spot? is 70%+ a bad thing? Are there exact points you want to have crit rate? How much speed is enough on supports? Just overall curious if there are exact figures you aim for when designing rune layouts.
I can't really answer your question fully. But in response to your example, that 60% crit rate sub stats he mentioned is what he's saying to aim for before switching a crit rate % slot 4 rune to a crit damage % slot 4 rune. Of course higher is better. as you'll notice his Zaiross had 83% crit rate. basically the closer you can get to 100% crit rate the better. That 60% sub stat crit rate isn't a cap, it's a starting point to get rid of a slot 4 crit rate rune. Hope this helps.
When I 1st started out I use to put rage runes with attk cr attk. It helped a lot with the damage for where I was. But that was before I was able to get the good cr from just the subs.

OMG after watching this now I know I should change my atk% on slot 4 for my attackers. I happened to put Atk, Atk, Atk on slot 1,4, and 6 which I found weird not dealing as much damage as other player monster does.

Right now I rune her with dispair/energy hp%/cr/acc, no max runes, but my calculations are that when maxed she is going to have 100% cr and 100 acc. Thaks

I just pulled an Emma (first lucky pull....ever) and was wondering what you would do to optimize both right out the gate and then towards end game or just a more refined optimum build. My biggest problem while farming giants is to decide which rune should I keep or salle.
What substats are good, which are bad for particular rune.
And when rune drops, I see usage on every single one.
Maybe not in every, except the ones with flat stats in slot 2,4,6 ;)
