Dear Ms Beh, Just a quick note to express my gratitude for your fantastic biology videos on TH-cam. Your clear explanations and passion for the subject make learning a joy. Thanks for making complex topics so accessible!
UR LITERALLY MY FAVORITE BIOLOGY TEACHER I WISH U WERE MY TEACHER FR alsoo could you upload 1.1a and the missing chapters cuz you're really carrying me thru AS
I can be...on TH-cam! 😂 No promises about the missing videos though :((( Having a crazy hectic season. My notes on behlogy.sellfy.store are complete tho!
i love ur vids sm !! ur getting so many ppls through AS this year. also i’d love if you’d do a live session and maybe solve past papers, have us ask you questions? before the may/june exams :,)
I wanna thank you for existing in such hard times I really like how you teach I hope I do well in my exams thanks a lot for being the most kindest teacher😭also BUTTHOLE is stuck in my head…
Hi Ms! Thank you for the great video as always :) May I ask, should we ignore all past year questions related to lung diseases (e.g.emphysema, chronic bronchitis, COPD, lung cancer) as the smoking component has been removed from the syllabus? Thanks!
thank you so much for your determined work at 31:00, can't the answer be 3? aren't cell surface membranes just overall one component? why would we count it as 5?
Hi yes! Sigh I based this on the textbook buttt I have seen that in past years recently. The terminal bronchioles (nearer to the bronchus) have some smooth muscles and some cilia. The respiratory bronchioles has none. Hope that clears things up!
@@behlogy but i found a mcq that asked All brochioles have which part mentioned below. And ms said smooth muscle and epithelium found in ALL bronchioles
Mucous glands are multicellular, while goblet cells are single-celled. Goblet cells are mucous cells in the surface epithelium. Mucous glands can be present several layers below that.
@@behlogyok thank you for finding time to respond. It's Mam may you help me in explaining what would be happening between the alveoli and the capillary to get all marks.
How many times must a molecule of carbon monoxide pass through a cell surface membrane as it diffuses from an air space in an alveolus, through a cell in the capillary wall, into a red blood cell? A 3 B 4 C 5 D 6
Honestly it depends on which part of the bronchiole. If it's near thr bronchus it may have some! Further away, none. But the table is based on past papers. Generally, in a levels, it seems like their answers (esp paper1) say bronchioles have no smooth muscles

I have AS exam in 2 weeks and this definitely helped
The description you gave for a bronchiole will definitely help me distinguish it better 🤣 And thanks for this great video ❤️
The ARDS example made everything so clear !! Thanks for providing such a great explanation on this topic :)

Thank you so much for the micrographs !

thysm, this vedio really explains a lot better than my teacher fr 😅
Thank you miss Beh!
but how can i differentiate between smooth muscle and elastic membranes in images?
Elastic fibres cant be really seen! Don't worry about it. Smooth muscle looks like layers of a tissue roll

Bcs it's a phospholipid bilayer! = 2 layers per cell membrane
thanks this really helped
Great video extremely helpful
Thank you for this!!!
Do we need to know about what happen in asthma attack?
nope. thats just an example
hey smooth muscle exists in bronchiole too!

do we need to know the labelled diagram of goblet cells

Thanks Alot Miss

Hello ms
how does exit of chloride ions help in formation of mucus?
It changes the water potential!
this is goood ...thank yu ...Keeep it up ...Yu made it quite easy for me THANK YU once again
Does this 1 video cover the entire syllabus for this chapter of AS level ??
