The only cue placements I've had had this plugin on it. I'm really surprised, but a fact is a fact. Easy to route, easy to "play". The fills? At a touch. It's old, but it still works

In the lower-right corner, next to the record button, you'll see the track you recorded. Just drag that file into your DAW. You can drag it in as audio or MIDI.

Can anyone tell me if the data can go on a separate drive? or does it have to go on the C drive? mine is getting low and wouldn't be able to do it..thanks in advance

Look at bottom right of the main window being displayed: see the "Record Export" area? You can get either the Audio, or the MIDI out of Strike straight into the track in your DAW (I'm assuming you loaded Strike as a VST from within your DAW....)
Trying to use with DAW where I draw in my notes that trigger the drum samples individually. It should not be this complicated! On the bottom left where it shows | style | kit | I clicked on kit and same on bottom right I clicked midi, and it seemed to work the way I wanted for a moment. The midi keys on my DAW would trigger the samples individually. Until a moment later when it started playing pre-written loops again and I couldn't shut them off! Either it's a bug that makes it unusable, or it's bad design that should be way more simple than this!
I had trouble with it too. If you use it as a normal sound source, doesn't it work normally if you send midi output on channel 2? According to the manual, "Tip: Assigning your MIDI keyboard to Strike on MIDI channel 2 lets you trigger Strike in Kit mode, even if the Strike keyboard is set to Style mode. This way, you can use trigger Patterns (channel 1) and individual hits (channel 2) simultaneously."
i'm having problems with stopping the loop track,it just won't stop, i put the note in the midi and the loop starts and when the track ends strike continues playing,how do i stop it ? xD
@@n0166 i figured it out,you have to put in another note as like a finisher. Try to scroll through the notes and just add a different sample note and some of them have the drum finisher roll.
I can't use this as a midi instrument in Reaper,it only triggers the grooves even in drumkit mode. Also it makes no sounds when I have it loaded in a midi track using the notes on Reaper's piano roll. The track is armed and midi record monitoring on.
Hi, realise this was posted a long time ago, but in case it's still of any use to you (or anyone else looking in)...I have what you were looking for actually working (in Reaper): the 'Kit only' function seems to work starting from C5 (= Kick) and higher on the Midi Editior piano roll, so you need to play in/write/transpose notes to that higher octave. Also, Strike only receives midi information for that Kit function on Midi channel 2 (in case you're not aware, one way to check and change this is to select all midi notes, right click on one of them, and look for 'channel' towards the bottom of the menu that pops up).

set another track to record the midi output of the drum track
. edit it, send it back to the drum

Copy the library to a different drive

My speaker icons are missing in the browser. I'm unable to audition the different patterns. Any clues?

The first key on my midi keyboard stops it
