Like you say man its the simple little things that improve your playing a lot .your video on delevoping speed i practise a lot, after 2 months practising different strokes developing speed learns you in no time its all about gravity your fingers automatically lift from the drumheads when speed training then its a matter of time before you can nail another landing faster than the last ..you are the man my friend
Greetings Eric, you look as though you had a great holiday!! Good to see you back on YT. Very useful video and it would be great to have more bongo time. Cheers.
I've been studying hand drumming a lot this past year after being a set player for over 34 years, and your videos are such a help! I've been combining East Indian and some Middle Eastern techniques when I solo, but what you teach really helps me with grooves, patterns, and super solid technique. Love the tutorials! Can't imagine why anyone would dislike any of your videos.
That 1st note on the macho sets it up for a slap. So it just has that effect sounding like a water drip from the faucet. Flam like 2 notes in one that creates a distinct sound.. co plaaaat.... then a coto...plaaat. LoL. Nice vid bro..
Thanks for the awesome video with great vibes & learning! I love my LP Giovanni galaxy bongos they are in gold hardware & prefer the LP hand picked rawhide heads not synthetic with them. Am I bad for liking these bongos I own? They are not junk at all which I know you like traditional rims & I like both!
A Percussion Life the loud so good! 🍻 but did you change the skins, did you? i use to play the lp 200 fibreglass but i'd like to change the classic skins with the yours one
I've been playing since the 50s but I'm so set my ways it's hard to learn anything new I played with Herbie Mann Mann go to Santa Maria your name it but I have a sick beat it all what you call 52 and I have variations from that. But I like it man I always llke the bingo they're very portable.
Please keep the bongo tutorials coming.
