He did stop marking kaiser, and then kaiser scored that nutty bicycle kick because he was free of Lorenzo. Despite how good isagi is, kaiser is still a new gen 11 and the biggest threat in the field without a mark, so he needs to be dealt with first before they start dealing with isagi. Or at least, that's my headcannon
Prob not quite new gen 11 but improving rapidly and really getting close. The reason I say this is because kaiser was getting marked by Lorenzo the whole time, if the roles were reversed and Lorenzo was marking isagi instead I suspect the game would’ve ended faster and more smoothly in favour of BM. But I do think Isagi will finally be a very good match for Rin and shidou that forces them to take him very seriously and devote serious team resources to stopping his plans. By the end of the PXG match I suspect isagi will have to grow to overcome all of this and only then if he overcomes it he can be called new gen 11 level.
i also think this next game against pxg will be a really good indicator as to how good isagi really is as he has to go up against the premier talent in blue lock (aka rin and shidou) not to mention the other NGXI member on pxg as well, interesting to see just how much he'll evolve during this next match as well.

I agree with your point that Isagi is NG11 level. I would say that Isagi’s unique and absolute weapon is his Adaptability. A weapon so great that it has the potential to surpass the worlds 1 striker. I still believe Isagi needs to improve in a few areas before he’s able to truly take over the game as a striker. I believe he needs to get his lefty direct shot up to at least 80%. But I think it’ll be at 100% bc it took him just 5 days to get it to 40%. I still believe he needs a weapon for defenders blocking his shot. Ikik people are tired of people saying he’ll get predator eye but I truly believe it’s piece that will put him over the edge. With all that being said, by time the PXG match concludes the arrival of the newest member of the NG11 should happen. A striker with the absolute weapon of adaptation and the ability to score goals with either foot.

But keep in mind that NG11 isn't actually a team it's just a list of players which have potential to become the worlds best. They won't coordinate with each other and the match itself would atleast take 7 to 8 chapters which wouldn't make it look like a good defeat
I can see why some would think Isagi is NG11 quality. I don't think he is in that bracket though. #1. His playstyle is still not self-sufficient, as is the fact for most NG11 players. He still needs the presence of other players for his movement to be effective (Hiori, Raichi, Kunigami etc.) and he can't stop everything even if he sees it (might be an unfair comparison considering his playstyle but NG11 players typically do this by themselves) which again is why he needs other players to work for him. If we look at NG11 level players, Sae was crushing threats by himself, building attacks by himself and scoring by himself. Same could be said of Lorenzo. Lorenzo's responsibility in the BM match was so immense that he was the one shutting down (or attempting to) every threat that arose, building up attacks with his dribbling and passing (this also kinda speaks to the below par of all the other Ubers NPCs outside of Barou, Aiku, Niko, Aryu and maybe Sendou). If anything, that NG11 case could be made for Barou. It can be said that there's no better elite goalscorer (not striker, mind you. There's a difference) than him. #2. Due to point #1, we know that Isagi's technical skills need some work. Whilst his game reading skills are CRAAAAAZY, everything else is still average at best. He's an amazing zonal marker (interceptions, anticipation, concentration,) but horrible man marker (tackling, strength, 1v1 marking) and in an attacking sense, he's got great off the ball movement and direct shooting but his passing, dribbling, pace etc are quite. Thus, most of these things cancel each other out. That's why he's most effective in reactive situations (counter attacks, transitions) #3. Due to point 2, if we were to say Isagi was an NG11 level player, the obvious question that'd arise would be; in what position? He's nowhere near an NG11 striker (there are better strikers in BL), nor a midfielder or defender. His skills are useful all over the pitch but there's no specific position to play him and see the best version or an NG11 level version of him. #4. And finally, because his skills can work anywhere on the pitch due to his adaptability, I still think that's a double edged sword for him. His overreliance on his mind, whilst achieving results, we've also seen how high risk, and possibly naive, they are. This has been true since the 2nd Selection (1st 3v3 against Rin, when he thought he had outread him, final play in the 3v3 vs Reo's team and 4v4 against Rin. The latter two situations worked out for him but there was still a huge risk of a definite goal. Also, his mistake in the 1st NEL match). For instance, both of Ubers goals came, in part, from that naivety. First goal, he makes an interception, believing that the Ubers were predictable. But that was a trap specifically set for him. And because his technical skills are average at best, he couldn't protect the ball long enough to escape the press. Barou's 2nd goal: again he thinks he's outread him (both in the buildup until the shot was taken) but lo and behold... Even he admits this. So this high risk high reward playstyle of his doesnt qualify him imo. His talent is so unique that it's kinda difficult to pinpoint his level, so I'm not mad if he ends up being an NG11 player by the end of this arc😅. With other players you know exactly what you're getting

PXG vs Bastard's gonna be lit. Honestly i have some predictions of my own. Maybe PXG might have a New Gen XI goalkeeper. I mean we've seen kaiser as a striker, Sae Itoshi as a midfielder, Lonrezo as a defender and maybe perhaps we might get to see a goal keeper who is new gen XI. I think this will pose a better challenge to isagi's scoring capabilities.
I would say he's not yet at that level but he's easily part of the new top 6 in blue lock. That probably going to end up being IMO, Rin Shidou Isagi Barou Reo Bachira, in the actual manga Reo probably going to still be ranked lower than Nagi but i feel he's underrated and he's on that level. My actual prediction for the final bids is Rin and Isagi are tied at 1st, Barou 2nd, Shidou 3rd. Bachira 4th, Nagi 5th

2:06 isagi already had some sort of metavision e.g team V vs Z so its not a skill he know nothing about. Isagi still used that metavision until the end of the manshine match showing he can reach using it until the end. Plus he trained not only hes stamina but also metavision, going off the premise of meta vision he probably doesn't waste any movement like before, e.g when he was about to stop barou for the fith time he wasn't wasting energy and ran straight to barou showing how he efficient hes been. The problem in manshine was that he doesn't know how to use it with hes current physique and with the training and his knowledge he probably figured how to make it work he is a genuis after all

Isagi becoming new Gen 11 is basically a "what if" if his high school hadn't suppressed his ego when he joined the team especially since their motto was "all for one." This match basically allowed Isagi to reclaim an ego that he once lost especially demanding Hiori to be subbed in while risking his starting position. The way Isagi played in this match can sort of be seen as a callback to Isagi's rematch against Rin with the latter's skill "puppeteer" I'm super hyped for the PXG match. Ngl, I did hope for BM to lose because it would have been a great way to bring Ego's back story prior their match against PXG
I still think isagis ego isn't fully developed. Because he still sees the need to have players around him which is good but that type of dependency can be detrimental cause there will be a time where he can't pass or rely on anyone else to give the winning pass If BM was to lose to pxg i think that's what it would lead to and he has a Rin u-20 moment in the after math

If BM was to lose, I just want isagi to go crazy with the passes or at least break off from the play and head straight to the goal and is faced 1v1 against someone and dribble pass them then score but Rin came in clutch. Well here's my counter theory to yours. What happened if there are ranks among the New Gen XI? And the 3 revealed so far are the lower and/or lowest ranked players of the New Gen XI. Keep in mind 2 out of the 3 seem to be in the new to recruit more powerful players to their teams. Which means their strength alone isn't enough to compete with the higher rank New Gen XI. For all we know the highest ranked New Gen XI could already be world-class. And the only thing holding them back is their age. 🤔🤔
Isagis weapon isnt just metavision the other new gen XI members have it too isagis true ability is adapting and improving its only been 3 matches since the neo egoist league is started he went from not being able to keep up with the fodder on bastard munchen to being on the level of kaiser
I get it if Isagi as a midfielder defending to his defensive third, but Kaiser... he's assigned as a forward... wtf a forward doing on the defensive third ? shouldn't he get yelled by Noa or is it possible that Noel Noa doesn't know what positioning is. you'll never see a la liga nor premier leagues players pulling such a stupldlty, they'll straight up get yelled by their manager just by positioning defensively way too deep, benched immediately. the reason why there's at least one ST staying on the middle third is to make the final backline defenders not joining the attack when we're defending. Positioning ST on the middle third when we're on defensive situation gives this enemy defenders a warning not to go way too deep to their final third (our defensive third), since we can just easily make a counter attack with it. by gives them that warning, we can reduce their attacking menpower, hence reducing their options and their pressing capability
Your not looking at the bigger picture. It's all circumstances this isn't a designated team and there's literally only 2 defenders on the field. And the game ends at 3 goals. This isn't La Liga so comparing two different types of games when the rules and criteria are totally different

His skill set is good. His stats are improving, look at all that he can accomplish through his skills despite having mid stats. Once his stats get up he will be a demon. Even if u dont think hes ng 11 lvl hes definitely near them.

2:06 isagi already had some sort of metavision e.g team V vs Z so its not a skill he know nothing about. Isagi still used that metavision until the end of the manshine match showing he can reach using it until the end.
Plus he trained not only hes stamina but also metavision, going off the premise of meta vision he probably doesn't waste any movement like before, e.g when he was about to stop barou for the fith time he wasn't wasting energy and ran straight to barou showing how he efficient hes been.
The problem in manshine was that he doesn't know how to use it with hes current physique and with the training and his knowledge he probably figured how to make it work he is a genuis after all

Kaiser stopped isagi once from scoring against ubers with impact vs direct shot. But isagi bested him in the end and even sent Ness early on. They really made it 2v1 and isagi was still focused on himself and not trying to sabotage Kaiser in any way

Isagi becoming new Gen 11 is basically a "what if" if his high school hadn't suppressed his ego when he joined the team especially since their motto was "all for one."
This match basically allowed Isagi to reclaim an ego that he once lost especially demanding Hiori to be subbed in while risking his starting position.
The way Isagi played in this match can sort of be seen as a callback to Isagi's rematch against Rin with the latter's skill "puppeteer"
I'm super hyped for the PXG match.
Ngl, I did hope for BM to lose because it would have been a great way to bring Ego's back story prior their match against PXG
I still think isagis ego isn't fully developed. Because he still sees the need to have players around him which is good but that type of dependency can be detrimental cause there will be a time where he can't pass or rely on anyone else to give the winning pass

Well here's my counter theory to yours. What happened if there are ranks among the New Gen XI? And the 3 revealed so far are the lower and/or lowest ranked players of the New Gen XI. Keep in mind 2 out of the 3 seem to be in the new to recruit more powerful players to their teams. Which means their strength alone isn't enough to compete with the higher rank New Gen XI. For all we know the highest ranked New Gen XI could already be world-class. And the only thing holding them back is their age. 🤔🤔

I get it if Isagi as a midfielder defending to his defensive third, but Kaiser... he's assigned as a forward... wtf a forward doing on the defensive third ? shouldn't he get yelled by Noa or is it possible that Noel Noa doesn't know what positioning is. you'll never see a la liga nor premier leagues players pulling such a stupldlty, they'll straight up get yelled by their manager just by positioning defensively way too deep, benched immediately. the reason why there's at least one ST staying on the middle third is to make the final backline defenders not joining the attack when we're defending. Positioning ST on the middle third when we're on defensive situation gives this enemy defenders a warning not to go way too deep to their final third (our defensive third), since we can just easily make a counter attack with it. by gives them that warning, we can reduce their attacking menpower, hence reducing their options and their pressing capability
