It is a step in the right direction if they can get banned for abusing it in world PVP, However that would imply that the gm's actually did their job and ban them,😂😂 goodluck there. This isn't even scraping the surface of what it does to the economy, how it inflates numbers, How people are actively waiting in line to log on the server just so they can play because some dude has 500 characters on the server. Multiboxing is Effectively the same thing as bottling, but instead of having all your commands done automatically, They are done automatically as replications of your main window. It's literally having thirty nine bots do the exact same thing as your main character. If blizzard who gets fifteen dollars a month per character Can throw that money away and recognize just how nasty of a problem this is, Then why can't warmane figure out that this is not ok, Especially when it actively harms their server.
warmane gm's exist? only time i've seen one was when they spawned cancer christmas event " every time I've made a ticket they just respond "I'm sorry we cannot deal with this", "we don't handle this" "this is not something we can look into"
I remember this one alliance boomkin mboxer whose name was Swarme, and he'd enter every WG battle every 2 hours, almost like he had an alarm setup for it. I had a fresh warrior just trying to get some honor points out of it to buy my relentless-tier set gear and wrathful off-pieces. Boy, was that the hardest task for me, apparently? In the span of 3 days, the horde didn't win once because of that guy. He was doing anything he could to prevent us from taking over the fortress, like not just spamming moonfire on us, spawn camping us, or destroying the vehicles in 3 hits. The guy would personally take over the workshops from us, capturing them, and then spawning 5-10 vehicles by himself and breaking our towers, and we couldn't do anything. The only way we'd be able to kill him is if we had 2 or 3 prot warriors, paladins, or anything with hard CC that stuns instantly in general, but that only gave us a 30-second window to spawn vehicles and regain our positions since the guy spawns again and goes back at us like a god of war. At some point, I gave up and laughed it off every time it'd happen since I couldn't do anything to prevent it. I'm just a warrior with a big axe, after all. It's hard to play into 10 characters that simultaneously hit you and one shot you, all coordinated by one person, and it's a game changer to have a multiboxer on either team. I think it shouldn't be allowed on warmane, or at least not for BGs and WG. It ruins the experience, and it makes everyone suffer, even the winning side. I'd be bored to death if a multiboxer would win the bgs for me, and all I had to do was protect him like he's some VIP.
@@Fishbro Playing Lordaeron since last year and never had problem to find raids, maybe dungeons but even as a dps I always find one, "dead server" it's almost a meme at this point
@@Fishbro You're wrong I just leveled a character to 80 on Lordaeron and was able to find groups for every dungeon along the way, and I'm someone who solely plays late at night/early morning when the least amount of people are on. The server is not dead by any means and offers the best WOTLK experience since the original retail release. Also the community has been amazing especially after fully playing through both Classic Vanilla and Classic TBC the difference in community from that was like night and day, you want to talk about hyper toxic trying playing retail Classic.

doesn't make a difference when theres clans of multi boxers with healers so there may aswell be 40 man stacks cause ur still facing 8 mboxers working together and then the random mboxers just doing their own thing aswell scattered throughout the fight
Multiboxing is my biggest complaint about this server. Next is the most toxic WoW community I've ever experienced. No one cares about anyone, raid recruitments will ignore you if you're not 6k gearscore with every raid achieve. I'm possible for new players/alts
tbh at least in Lordaeron, I started playing at the end of last year and yes there are toxic people but it is not that hard to get your gear up, you can find a lot of alt-runs for icc to get gear asap and you can find a lot of guilds that has people that genuinely wants to help and make you part of a core (at least the spanish speaking guilds are like that) but by the other hand, idk how is raiding in Icecrown and there's a lot of people who complains about the toxicity in that server
@@rawrrarrawrrawrrar3066 I started playing Lordaeron only a few months back after having played through both Classic Vanilla + Classic TBC, and I found the Lordaeron community much, much less toxic than Classic. Within the first week of starting a new character I had about 5 random people open trade with me to give gear/gold to help get started, which NEVER happened my entire playthroughs of Classic Vanilla and TBC. Also found a guild with some genuinely great people who have been extraordinarily helpful with trying to gear up at max level. Oh and have yet to see a multi-boxer on there. This guy loves to dump on Lordaeron but I feel like the majority of issues he complains about are a lot more prevalent on Icecrown due to the lower barrier to entry and more pay-to-win gimmicks. As long as you understand what you're getting into with the harder max level raids and know that it's going to be a longer journey to get geared enough for them, it's an amazing server to be on and I'm very happy that it exists.
I personally hate multiboxing aswell but this is extremely exaggerated though, the only problem I see with multiboxers is in big wpvp premade fights & wintergrasp, It's not that bad in battlegrounds, sure you might see them occasionally, and let's be real, there's not that many of them as you make it sound in this video, I usually see the same 5-10 mboxers everytime and most of them are trash anyways, also It's fairly easy to win a bg against a multiboxer as long as It's not Warsong Gulch, and you don't see them too often in smaller bgs anyways.

its literally botting ruining the experience for anyone whos not a bogeyed socially awkward freak with 16 accounts running at once as a new player this ruined max pvp experience for me and i cba even bothering to learn anymore with the state of it on warmane, 95% of pvp is just clans of max guys 1 shotting levelers on quests and the rest is multi boxers ruining pvp events so now i just play 19s when i can actually find people to gank or a bg dont see them as often in bgs but wintergrasp is the most important source of pvp rewards the only real benefit from bgs is the arena points for the daily win, the honor is mostly useless
Both retail and private servers have bots and multiboxers you only see more in private server because its 1 server and population is much lower and its free plus easier to run now on pc compared to retail. I play neither servers incase yall wondered havent played for many years.

I found out the bug that i glitched out of the area, i walk through the barrens to crossroads, then suddenly it tp back at the beginning like it was lagging or something.
Not sure if this video is prio this but warmane had a anti sofrware for multiboxing more then 5 accounts in world, any where other then in raids. So the issue that u r describing doesnt exist anymore. If ur bg cant handle 5man team, u would lose against normal players with same gears.

I started multiboxing since then (can't beat them then join em right?) when I'd play on warmane and often times I'd be logged into 10+ accounts at the same time, mostly to advertise raids, the channel, etc while I only actively played on 5 accounts. All they do is they check i.p address and make sure that there aren't more than 5 players logged in from the same i.p in the same location in-game. So realistically you can multibox as many 5 man party's as you want.

Yea thats been a thing since i stated private servers like 8 or more years ago lol. I would suggest learn the raids in guides do your own or know exactly all mechanics by memory you will increase chances of invite as they see you know every fight exactly.
When i played it was few years ago it was warmane in private servers a quality thats also considered is population without it theres no server. When you vote on their site they take you to page where alot of private servers are voted on you can see and do research yourself and visit their server pages to see what rated and such what works what doesnt good server show that info some might not thats up to player to decide.
Merlin is right, there are plenty of alternatives to Warmane. Warmane has a large quantity of fake population. Hell I play on like 13 accounts at once when I play on Warmane, grinding herbs on 6, farming HK's in a bg on 1, and leveling the other 5 in dungeons.
Buggy private servers have existed for years and years. Theres a reason warmane needs thousands bots and multi-account users/multiboxers. Their population is far less than they let on.
Yea its the same retail players that ran to classic for most the most part trying to get clicks and views after it died off the hardcore classic started as i predicted no real players like original game thats why id died off and it is what it is now a garbage solo game with hand outs and no real progression. Most clicks are very low on warcraft even random videos might get more clicks than world of warcraft.
You are wrong: Server is paid by the multiboxers, since 80% of them are geared from the store - which is about €350 per character x 5 = more than €1500 per multiboxer person. This is working for the mods as intended.
As others have posted, this is a myth. Yes a good amount of Whales will multibox but many will not. I know many players who've donated $10,000+ and none of them are multiboxers either. You are factually wrong.

Another way is to ask friend who has it and lose about 20-30% of your gold. I never said that the server is held or owned by the multiboxers, although it is paid by them.
I could agree with you but the Wintergrasp PvP is mainly dominated by Horde Mboxers most of the time, especially nowadays. Other than that yeah, mboxers are kinda killing the game experience for casual players, for us. Not for them. The reason why Warmane allows this is probably monetary reasons. When a casual player actually donates its just x1, when it comes to mboxers simply multiply donation with x5. All in all, it fucks the game experience for newcomers and actual pvp players who look for skilled & fair pvp in World PvP zones.

yeah both sides have alot mboxers but noticed half of time the alliance mboxers are just afk, braindead or trolling, even though we win its just 20 minutes of getting raped by 2-4 mboxers and barely defending cause anytime u make progress they respawn and 1 shot everyone, i'm sure from horde perspective it seems same way though

It's extremely toxic because warmane is toxic and the staff fail to regulate the server in any meaningful way. If the staff truly cared and banned players for griefing and intentionally ruining the experience of other players you'd see the server instantly become amazing overnight. If I were a GM I'd ban zone-disruption, target griefing, and other disgusting behaviors like multiboxing in battlegrounds.
Rather than relying on cashiers from stupid people like that, I hope it will be an environment where people are willing to donate a small amount for fun with transmogrification or something cute. Also, in lordaeron, it is impossible for multiboxer users to purchase gear with coins. They usually make wrathful gear by abusing what is virtually wintrade in 5v5 or 3v3, or buy someone's good gear characters on the market and bundle them into a stupid box of 5 pieces. doesn't help much, it's just toxic. I think it's right to allow multiboxing in Icecrown (because it helps with server operating costs), and completely ban multiboxing in Lordaeron. Realistically, that would be the best way.
It is a huge disruption of gameplay, i always antagonize a multiboxer when i see one on a server. their only argument is that it takes them time and skill to do it, and why try on a 15+year old game. But the AH is affected, RDF, raids, all that is corrupted because of them. If they put multi-boxing allowed 5 max on the front page i guarantee anyone with half a brain would not download it because it would be an unfair advantage and a waste of your time... RIP warmane

Doesn't matter, you can easily multibox 40 characters aslong as they don't follow each other and have individual input commands. Still 5 toons at a time is very overpowered
To many private servers. Plus for all other servers there is little to no actual step by step guide on how to install the downloads. One great thing for Warmane is that you don't have to go heavie on addons, that's just me. I tried ULTIMOWOW WOTLK 3.3.5A and man was that a mission, where does the addon for questie go which folder ? Maps, Interface.?
That's not multiboxing. Multiboxing directly means to control multiple characters through 3rd party software at the same time. Having multiple windows up has always been acceptable and controlling multiple characters through alt-tabbing and putting your own inputs and not 3rd party software is just genuine gameplay.
I ve tried warmane when wotlk classic was hype it was a nice experience till i got on northrend.... Got camped as a begginer trying to just experience the questing for like 2 hours after that uninstalled never touched wow again..... The lore is good though i ve got into reading books But i wish a lot of "good" to those virgin alliance players
Yeah they spend $300 for a full bis wrathful pvp toon with shadowmourne then camp low level players 24/7. Happens all the time. WOW is worth playing, but warmane is a terrible experience for WOW content.

I very much agree! - Multiboxing is very cancerous and problematic. As i see it, MMORPGs are communitybased, and multiboxing is onesided. The multiboxer reaps all the rewards and advantages, while the community is worse off. Theres no exchange, no mutual gain. Its just a W for the multiboxer, and a L for the rest of the community.
This would be such a relevant video if you released it 2 years ago. 40 man mbox hasn't been a thing on warmane for a long long time, and yes I've seen wintergrasps that are just 2 40 man multiboxers vs 2 40man multiboxers, but there has been released a 5 man cap on multiboxing you're even showing it when you pull up the website it's the top post!! I disagree, Forty men multibox are absolutely abusive but even five man multibox is unfair. Multiboxing is just a repetition via programming on other characters through the primary window, it's the same thing as botting. Is not completely true, because you have to w8 queue with no premium acc. They inflate the server with fake player and if you're not premium is almost guaranteed to w8 queue. Other think is that multiboxer will pay for items in shop atlest for trinkets. So warmane win again. To not talk about legendary quests shadowmourne and shards drop rates.. is lot under 30% blizzlike you need guild to collect your shard or will take around 2years 😅 but you can buy it from store - 150coins - 150 usd.. again win for warmane.

No matter what they try to wrap it up with, the essence of multiboxers is that they don't believe in themselves. Mentally weak people who do not trust their own judgment and hands want to easily defeat others by combining 5 characters. It is a completely different motivation from the values of adventure, romance, immersion in role play, etc., which are the reasons ordinary people enjoy RPGs. They're not playing games, they're poor people who just want to fill their frustrations with the help of a program. Of course, some "cash support" is required to run a private server. I've been playing in warmane for almost 10 years ,never saw an multiboxer ,maybe with 2 toons,boosting an alt like I have done ,but I've never been killed from 40 druids at the same time or 5 druids or 5 mages ,that's nonsense you talking about, or maybe I'm wrong ,but there's no footage or any evidence for what you stating , yes there are farming bots , or pickpocketing rogues ,but no multiboxers like 40 ppl or 5 or 10 , stay safe and please put an evidence whenever you state something

Also moonkin is so popular becouse their starfall is strongest aoe dmg in the game and they can do great dps even with low gs as you said. It's lame asf. Still the same Gms that dont care about the population tho :( scamming guilds so GMs get server first etc. Those people are still around

Also found a guild with some genuinely great people who have been extraordinarily helpful with trying to gear up at max level. Oh and have yet to see a multi-boxer on there.
This guy loves to dump on Lordaeron but I feel like the majority of issues he complains about are a lot more prevalent on Icecrown due to the lower barrier to entry and more pay-to-win gimmicks. As long as you understand what you're getting into with the harder max level raids and know that it's going to be a longer journey to get geared enough for them, it's an amazing server to be on and I'm very happy that it exists.
I personally hate multiboxing aswell but this is extremely exaggerated though, the only problem I see with multiboxers is in big wpvp premade fights & wintergrasp, It's not that bad in battlegrounds, sure you might see them occasionally, and let's be real, there's not that many of them as you make it sound in this video, I usually see the same 5-10 mboxers everytime and most of them are trash anyways, also It's fairly easy to win a bg against a multiboxer as long as It's not Warsong Gulch, and you don't see them too often in smaller bgs anyways.

as a new player this ruined max pvp experience for me and i cba even bothering to learn anymore with the state of it on warmane, 95% of pvp is just clans of max guys 1 shotting levelers on quests and the rest is multi boxers ruining pvp events so now i just play 19s when i can actually find people to gank or a bg

Both retail and private servers have bots and multiboxers you only see more in private server because its 1 server and population is much lower and its free plus easier to run now on pc compared to retail. I play neither servers incase yall wondered havent played for many years.

Not sure if this video is prio this but warmane had a anti sofrware for multiboxing more then 5 accounts in world, any where other then in raids. So the issue that u r describing doesnt exist anymore. If ur bg cant handle 5man team, u would lose against normal players with same gears.
@Timmyyh this software is a joke bud. I started multiboxing since then (can't beat them then join em right?) when I'd play on warmane and often times I'd be logged into 10+ accounts at the same time, mostly to advertise raids, the channel, etc while I only actively played on 5 accounts.
All they do is they check i.p address and make sure that there aren't more than 5 players logged in from the same i.p in the same location in-game. So realistically you can multibox as many 5 man party's as you want.

Yea thats been a thing since i stated private servers like 8 or more years ago lol. I would suggest learn the raids in guides do your own or know exactly all mechanics by memory you will increase chances of invite as they see you know every fight exactly.

When i played it was few years ago it was warmane in private servers a quality thats also considered is population without it theres no server. When you vote on their site they take you to page where alot of private servers are voted on you can see and do research yourself and visit their server pages to see what rated and such what works what doesnt good server show that info some might not thats up to player to decide.
Merlin is right, there are plenty of alternatives to Warmane. Warmane has a large quantity of fake population. Hell I play on like 13 accounts at once when I play on Warmane, grinding herbs on 6, farming HK's in a bg on 1, and leveling the other 5 in dungeons.

Buggy private servers have existed for years and years. Theres a reason warmane needs thousands bots and multi-account users/multiboxers. Their population is far less than they let on.
Yea its the same retail players that ran to classic for most the most part trying to get clicks and views after it died off the hardcore classic started as i predicted no real players like original game thats why id died off and it is what it is now a garbage solo game with hand outs and no real progression. Most clicks are very low on warcraft even random videos might get more clicks than world of warcraft.

I could agree with you but the Wintergrasp PvP is mainly dominated by Horde Mboxers most of the time, especially nowadays. Other than that yeah, mboxers are kinda killing the game experience for casual players, for us. Not for them. The reason why Warmane allows this is probably monetary reasons. When a casual player actually donates its just x1, when it comes to mboxers simply multiply donation with x5. All in all, it fucks the game experience for newcomers and actual pvp players who look for skilled & fair pvp in World PvP zones.
Well multiboxers don't donate most of the time. The real benefit is just player count increase.

It's extremely toxic because warmane is toxic and the staff fail to regulate the server in any meaningful way. If the staff truly cared and banned players for griefing and intentionally ruining the experience of other players you'd see the server instantly become amazing overnight. If I were a GM I'd ban zone-disruption, target griefing, and other disgusting behaviors like multiboxing in battlegrounds.
I agree that it is bad but as a mostly PvE player it has never been a problem for me personally.
Rather than relying on cashiers from stupid people like that, I hope it will be an environment where people are willing to donate a small amount for fun with transmogrification or something cute.
Also, in lordaeron, it is impossible for multiboxer users to purchase gear with coins. They usually make wrathful gear by abusing what is virtually wintrade in 5v5 or 3v3, or buy someone's good gear characters on the market and bundle them into a stupid box of 5 pieces. doesn't help much, it's just toxic.
I think it's right to allow multiboxing in Icecrown (because it helps with server operating costs), and completely ban multiboxing in Lordaeron. Realistically, that would be the best way.
Yeah Lordaeron is lucky that it doesn't have the multiboxer issue that icecrown has, but it's a dead server and nobody plays there.

It is a huge disruption of gameplay, i always antagonize a multiboxer when i see one on a server. their only argument is that it takes them time and skill to do it, and why try on a 15+year old game. But the AH is affected, RDF, raids, all that is corrupted because of them. If they put multi-boxing allowed 5 max on the front page i guarantee anyone with half a brain would not download it because it would be an unfair advantage and a waste of your time... RIP warmane

True PVP'ers delete multiboxers in seconds without sweat. All you need is a Shadow Priest with BIS PVE set on quick switch, and a few seconds :D
To many private servers. Plus for all other servers there is little to no actual step by step guide on how to install the downloads.
One great thing for Warmane is that you don't have to go heavie on addons, that's just me.

Blizzard never banned Multiboxer. They just disallow the third party softwares. So basicly you can do Multiboxing but you need to tab in every game
That's not multiboxing. Multiboxing directly means to control multiple characters through 3rd party software at the same time.
Having multiple windows up has always been acceptable and controlling multiple characters through alt-tabbing and putting your own inputs and not 3rd party software is just genuine gameplay.
I ve tried warmane when wotlk classic was hype it was a nice experience till i got on northrend.... Got camped as a begginer trying to just experience the questing for like 2 hours after that uninstalled never touched wow again..... The lore is good though i ve got into reading books

Yeah they spend $300 for a full bis wrathful pvp toon with shadowmourne then camp low level players 24/7. Happens all the time. WOW is worth playing, but warmane is a terrible experience for WOW content.

I very much agree! - Multiboxing is very cancerous and problematic. As i see it, MMORPGs are communitybased, and multiboxing is onesided. The multiboxer reaps all the rewards and advantages, while the community is worse off. Theres no exchange, no mutual gain. Its just a W for the multiboxer, and a L for the rest of the community.

Multiboxing is just a repetition via programming on other characters through the primary window, it's the same thing as botting.

I dont condone multiboxing but to say Warmane doesnt benefit from them is silly. They may not be paying for a monthly subscription but they are donating for gear (the majority of them are) Mostly trinkets and weapons but that adds up

Is not completely true, because you have to w8 queue with no premium acc. They inflate the server with fake player and if you're not premium is almost guaranteed to w8 queue. Other think is that multiboxer will pay for items in shop atlest for trinkets. So warmane win again. To not talk about legendary quests shadowmourne and shards drop rates.. is lot under 30% blizzlike you need guild to collect your shard or will take around 2years 😅 but you can buy it from store - 150coins - 150 usd.. again win for warmane.

No matter what they try to wrap it up with, the essence of multiboxers is that they don't believe in themselves. Mentally weak people who do not trust their own judgment and hands want to easily defeat others by combining 5 characters. It is a completely different motivation from the values of adventure, romance, immersion in role play, etc., which are the reasons ordinary people enjoy RPGs. They're not playing games, they're poor people who just want to fill their frustrations with the help of a program.
Of course, some "cash support" is required to run a private server.
