@@legitor513 c’est face au public canadien ou au public français ? Je me souviens, c’est la devise du Québec, qu’on trouve sur les plaques d’immatriculation là-bas. A l’origine c’est une devise sur le fronton du Parlement du Québec, avec des fresques pointant vers les 3 cultures qui se sont succédées dans La Belle Province (Amérindienne, Française, Anglaise). Lara a composé la chanson quand elle est retournée en Belgique, juste après avoir quitté le Québec, et en ressantant déjà la nostalgie de son pays de cœur. Elle a été très émue quand juste après avoir sorti son album, ses fans français, à Paris, l’ont repris par cœur. I agree with you and many others i have been following her since she move to Québec Province in early 1990s and she has been blockled so bad in the USA that it is criminal. PLUS, she was very well trained by the best opera teachers from Belgium and Italy, but she decided to sing pop songs, she also has the knowledge to sing in operatic way, she studied from her 8 to 18 at the Belgium Conservatory of Music (there she learned Bel Canto, piano [she composes her own songs on piano), she started singing professionaly at the age of 15, in 1985, her first video clipe came when she turned 16, in 1986 and her first world wide album was released at the begin of 1990. Then since 1998 she kept having vocal lessons with a teacher untill nowadays. Lara also works as a vocal coach on The Voice Canada, she already worked as the vocal coach at the Star Academy program in France from 2004 /2008. She speaks fluently and composes in 4 languages (English, Spanish, Italian and French), but she is able to speak and understand a little bit of Russian, Dutch and Portuguese, she already sang live in 12 languages.
