    The Secret of Drawing consists of just two things: 1) Making lines on paper; and 2) Choosing where they go.

      But just never forget to stay on the same genre(chord i guess), can't do realistic while the other half is just cartoon, maybe you can but most of the time it won't be good for everyonne

    I also am into new age and recently bought one of those digital pianos. Being blind I did not catch how you added the ocean sound. How do add nature sounds to the music??

    • @paulkennyofficial
      @paulkennyofficial ปีที่แล้ว

      I record all of my nature sounds in nature. I then add them (mix them) with the music I create. :-)

    What are those 2 keyboards on the right? What’s that sequencer? The northern keyboard might be a Yamaha DX7.

    • @paulkennyofficial
      @paulkennyofficial 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi RJ. Yes DX7 the original and best!! Also an M1 and a mother 88 piano keyboard on the bottom. :-)

    Any chance you do walkthroughs helping get to a complete song? I can create some really nice progressions but turning it into something that could be called a song is troubling me. Basically i can make dozens of moods and motifs all day... Turning that into a whole song is killing me as my perfectionism collapses around me.

    • @paulkennyofficial
      @paulkennyofficial 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi and yes that's something I can certainly do. As you can see its taken me a long time to get back to you. I am just so busy with music projects, albums, writing music books, writing a musical and recording its hard to find the time. I am also working on a concert tour as well for later this year or sometime next year. Too much MUSIC and NOT ENOUGH TIME :-)

      @justanothergachatuber2622 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      my friend says that for nice keyboards the "Casiotone 701" is good, I don't play piano or keyboard so I dunno but from what music he's written I have to say I like it

    Hey Paul, thank you for putting this video together. Using your advice, I put together the following track. It's a sad little piece that I put over a recording of a thunderstorm: soundcloud.com/pauldigiorgio/tears-in-the-rain. I would love to hear what you think, and if you have any suggestions on how I can improve. Thank you again, Paul DiGiorgio.

    Beautiful! What type of gear did you use to record and then playback the waves?

    • @paulkennyofficial
      @paulkennyofficial 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Dylan. Waves are recorded on beaches around Australia. Originally I used an old tape (cassette) machine and 2 microphones for the stereo sound. Now I use an iPad or similar with the same microphones attached with adapter plugs.

    Go outside with your instrument, listen to the birds.
    5 seconds later: oh yeah, the German shepherds of the neighbours started barking again.
    And oh yeah, now 10 other dogs have started as well.
    So relaxing...
    Oh, the soothing sounds of 'nature', right?

    I guess TH-cam's algorithm isn't entirely terrible, it does give me old, unrelated, and very low sub count videos, that's not sarcasm btw, I like alot of the 13 and 14 year old videos on here. Watch the yt bot delete this Cuz I said youtube and terrible in the same sentence.
