Thank you for your comment! We have incorporated your suggestion in our list! A Pitta-Vata constitution has to maintain a good balance of warming and cooling foods, herbs, drinks and activities. For example if you’re eating a cooling food like Ashgourd, mix it with warming spices such as Ajwain, hing etc. to balance out. Regularity in intake of foods/any other activity at the same time every day is a must for such a body type. Cooked, nourishing soft meals like khichadi, Moong daal Cheela, Daal-Soups, cooked vegetables like carrots, pumpkin, zucchini with mild spices with a good amount of ghee helps both. Sesame oil Abhyanga in winters is also fine, if you don’t have a skin/inflammatory disorder. Herbs and spices that are suitable for both dosha types: Fennel, Licorice, Dry Ginger powder (small quantities), Chotti Elaichi, Amla, Coriander, turmeric (in moderation) etc. Our recommendation would be to get a Vaidya consultation @ +91 95132 60029 to get guidelines that suit your needs better!
