Thanks Azzric! World of Illusion was great! I loved that the graphics were improved and offered co-op play with a friend. I never got around to completing it, but do have it in my collection. So I'll have to try it again ;-)
Yeah, I always liked Donald better than Mickey, so I thought it was cool to be able to play as him. I never beat it either and I still don't own it. I'll have to pick it up at some point.
Good review man! Only thing I would do differently is get myself a better mic the rock band mic works just fine! :) otherwise a great video. I just reviewed world of Illusion last week. That's a really great game too!
Thank you. I tried getting a better mic, but I'm not sure if my problem is more the echo in here? That's something I really need to figure out - how to reduce echo :/
Rock band mic. Put a sock over it and secure it with a rubber band. Then use audacity to record. After you have recorded your audio use the noise removal tool and that should fix everything
Hi Lifespiller79, thanks for checking out my video! Luckily, the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive had a lot of great Disney games. As far as Mickey Mouse title go, I believe there are 3 in total: 1. Castle of Illusion 2. World of Illusion 3. Mickey Mania World of Illusion offers 2 player co-op and an improvement in graphics. Mickey Mania isn't co-op, but is probably the best of the 3? It's hard to say. It did have incredible graphics and animation though. All of them are great and I hope to do a review of them all over time :-)
I love Mickey Mania I have it CIB. No problem Matt! You did a fantastic job. These kinda of videos fuel my fire to want to do videos and collect video games.
+MyGamerXP That's my prefered way of doing what I like to call the 'booty bump' lol. It is a pretty slow game, I picked it up at my local Blockbuster for like $8 when they were selling all their Genesis and SNES games around '98. I was still pretty young back then and looking back wished I had more money because I could've really expanded my Genesis collection.
Just played through the game for the first time. It's fine for the time frame it came out in but I'd say a bit below average. I have no nostalgia goggles for this game & I don't see it as anything close to a classic.
Another great review. I used to loved this game when I was younger. I also loved World of Illusion.

Could you review the sequel world of illusion and?

Great review Matt! I was looking through the Mickey Mouse games and trying to sort out the bad ones from the good ones. Thanks

I still need that one. I think the only bad one was Fantasia, which was developed by Infogrames Entertainment rather than Sega :-)
Hmmm that's interesting about Fantasia
Good review, you can also push down instead of jump twice :)
+tuffasgong Ah I didn't know that, thanks! :-)
