Can you please not Crystal the car stay away. You will total the valve springs and it won't handle reving in that region especially if the car is maxing out on the injectors all you need is a set of K series injectors with the tophats to fit into the bseries rail a I driver with Boenie Cams (WorkedRacing) and you good to go straight in the 140Kw plus region 👍

Crystal has been done for ages and a b18vtec can rev to 8200 8400 as herman said no problems, and yes ive had a b18nonvtec with crower cams rev there all day for years no issues, it even revved to 9k rpm, The only problem comes in is when you get greedy and try to revv it all the time there as there is no limiter essentially. Boenie cams what is Boenie cams? Im sure you dont even know what it is, Estas regrinds of skunk stage 1 cams lol ffs
I love your answer and I love debates but don't ever try to make yourself sound smart when at the same time you contradicting yourself Herman will never advise you nor any real mechanic will advise you to crystal your ECU if his a real mechanic and he knows what his doing Crystal is another poor man's mod that has been used for ages but at the same time they do not say what the disadvantages are of it cause clearly your car was not built and it was bought and the previous owner probably told you that right cause if you have a set of Skunk 2's then why are you using a crystal if Skunk 2 on its own can clearly give you that reving advantage already and don't tell me things I know about where a B18 can Rev the main concern is can the stock valve train handle that abuse on a daily and YOUR ANSWER IS NO! vtec heads are not cheap and clearly you don't know what you talking about cause you say and I Qoute " you Rev Till 9K but don't get greedy" what does that tell you alone think before you answer theres no fuel there on top and you just hurting your motor daily and if you don't know what Boenie Cams is then where do you stay are you even from western cape? Checkout Worked Racing on Lightly Salted Channel. if you don't know what Boenie is all about I had a AutoTec Built motor with Boenie Cams on a diktator STD and without adjusting the Cams I made 155kw on stock valve train till 8k so don't give mense kak advise cause not everyone is as fortunate as the next one and can buy fake Cams and get it in a Skunk box with a sticker that says stage 1 before I end off tell me quick something If you Reved till thy kingdom come daily on a non vtec tell us how many times did your rockers come lose? Come talk kak to me here stage 1 is more then a price of a damn vtec head you got robbed buddy enjoy your day 🤣😂🤣

I had a b18 nonvtec, with crower cams 403s no valve train revved over 8k daily, i then built it with high comp pistons and vtec head with cams, then went b20 vtec with cams so this was more than 10 years ago and if you think you know more then so be it. Herman said a b18 vtec can rev to 8200 8400 i never said he said they must crystal the stock ecu although it is an option all be it az you say, "the poor" mans option, clearly you must be a geld gat then.
@@kylow_t2316 You one of those internet experts, lol I also had one of the first K20s with cams, real genuine Drag Cartel cams in, i think Renze back then was the first in his Fn2 with Skunk2 cams in his fn2 not Estas or billet regrinds and its okay, each to their own but please guy, this is old news and ive been there done that years ago. My fn2 ran many faster cars when the fn2 was considered slow, but i took the time and effort experimenting with Cams, exzorst, Hondata, intakes, tbs, different maps tuning and that fn2 made 190kw stock bottom end. Ffs.

That’s a very nice dyno room
This is a good learning curve, that when modifying a car so many other things come into play and require upgrading. Car made decent power considering its only revving to where it is.

Fit k20 injectors and it's plugs and the crystal, will sort you guys out. 5bar is very high.
