I found a different rule worked for me. When wearing a monochrome outfit. When I wear 2 shades, they often just don’t look right, but when I wear 3 shades, they all blend.
This is a fantastic video! My favorite color combination is to wear one piece with interesting texture or a bright color and all the rest of my outfit is a neutral color. Other times, I like to wear pastel colors in my top and bottom and my bag is a bright shade of one of my pieces. I like looking subdued and kind of neutral.

Most times I like bold colors and contrast, they make me more energetic and joyful, just few days I prefer soft neutral outfits... I am loving this season full of vibrant colors: royal blue, fucsia, orange, grass green, turquoise, red......

Thank you also for the tips regarding green shades, this is one of my fave colors and I own at least 3 dresses in different shades of green...
My skin tone doesn't look great in muted or neutral colors so I'm excited for this video and to try combining some more of my colorful wardrobe together! This will hopefully get more wear out of my pieces if I can put things together I never thought of before. My main colors are vibrant shades of blue, green, red, purple, yellow, and the darker pinks. Trying to style such bold colors can be intimidating though so thanks for the tips!

Orange w Turquoise or magenta or purple. I also love a warm mid brown with a true red!

I love to mix warm green-blues with warm greens, the more shades the better! I also love teal with warm red and cream. So chic!
