From my limited knowledge of Elfen Lied, Lucy's powers are psychic-based. I'm planning on gorging the series as fast as possible so that I know where DB will inevitably mess up when it comes to anime characters (serious, Toph beats Gaara? Come DB, what you smokin?), but if her powers are psychic and have no delay other than her speed of thought, Carnage is done.
Elfen Lied is part of my childhood alongside Spider-Man's shows at the time. Also, Lucy doesn't have cat ears, those are horns of cartilage and bone. Great reaction by the way!
I made a request for Nui Harime being Carnage's opponent. But I think here's why this match up was chosen: there's not that many characters that can keep up with someone as ridicilously powerful and insane as Carnage. And in retrospect, Nui wouldn't have any means to put Carnage down for good and vice versa. And while Lucy certainly is a formidable foe against almost anyone with those 2 meter vectors that can cut solid objects like butter, her signature killing method only puts her as a sitting duck for Carnage, who survived when Sentry ripped him half. Aside from those vectors, the rest of Lucy's body is as vurnerable as those of an ordinary human.
All the more reason why i suggested one of Prototype's protagonists. Setting in New York, flesh weaponry, lots of blood and destruction in their wake, and little to no reason to consider mercy. This is purely for the bloodshed, not for a near equal clash.
Cole MacGrath is at this point the likeliest opponent for the shapeshifting fuckhead since [PROTOTYPE] and inFAMOUS have been rival games since the day one. DB goes with rival matches as often as possible. I mean, seriously, why else there are matches like Mario vs. Sonic, Crash vs. Spyro and Leonardo vs. Zitz?
nifinland apparently she has a lot of arms and they can go way further than 2 meters, far enough to completely incase the world and to go straight into space.
I really don't know much about what Carnage is capable of, so I can't comment too much. As for Lucy's "cat ears" I believe those are her Vectors (at least, I think that's what they're called, it's been some time since I saw Elfen Lied). Basically, you get within the Vectors' range, you're gonna get diced into tiny pieces within seconds (and in an incredibly graphic, gory way too)
ScrewAttack couldn't have casted more propriate voices for these characters in the next match. Chris Guerrero already voiced Venom in his match so it's not surprise he can do good voice work as Carnage and who would be better voice for Lucy than the lady that voiced Painwheel from Skullgirls?
I'm sure this has been said before, but actually the episode where Jack learns to 'jump good', wasn't at the end of Season 4, but the 'first episode' of Season Two :P ^There's a lot more after that, even before Season 5 really amped up things
