@@hd-xc2lz a pitch clock doesn’t limit how long the game can go for, it just limits how long a pitcher can take to throw a pitch. The games can still go on for as long as they need to.

The Mets had several types of games like this and they were at the losing end of them. Its nice to see them comeback. Buck Showalter has changed the attitude of this team and you can see it compared to the last 4+ seasons. Confidence is high. LETS GO METS!!!

Gary at times has that tendency of getting too “over excited in key moments” like that no hitter for example that the Mets through against the Phillies.

@@buckzz___ But don't you think he's had that tendancy of "rubbing it in the face of an opponent" when he's screaming at the top of his lungs during big moments when the Mets win? My point is he needs to tone it down a bit and not get too "over the top" excited. But that's just me.
This is the game that set the foundation for the season. Without this, I think the year plays out differently.
Actually I think when Buck came out of the dugout when lindor was hit in the face set the tone for the season JMO

As a phillies fan what a great game this was to watch. The Mets have this division in their pocket and they fucking deserve it because heh do NOT give up and they have an unbelievable team spirit in New York that is not beatable. Unfortunately for us phillies fans, our team does not have what it takes.

6-30-2000 the day Shea Stadium almost collapsed. Mets vs Braves Mets had 1.5 lead on NLE. Down 8-1 in the 8th, Mets scored 10 runs in the 8th, capped by Piazza's 3 run homer. The crowd reaction was incredible. Before the day of cell phone zombies.

I haven’t really watched the Mets since 16. But this team has me excited. Been a Met fan since the very beginning, yeah I’m old, this is how they operate. Either everything goes their way or, usually, everything collapses. There is no middle ground with the Mets. This looks like one of those everything is going our way years. LETS GO METS. I am old enough to be one of the first fans to make that chant.
