This is adorable, Me and my best friend both have Tourette's aswell. When were both together and having tics all you will hear is "WEEWOO" and influencing each others tics. You and your friends are so wholesome and seeing you all together made me smile

My friend group and I are all adhd/autistic, and me and one friend both have tourettes as well, so at lunch when we all eat together it’s usually all of us trying to talk at once, and instead of letting someone else talk we all just start yelling to be heard over each other, which then makes us all overstimulated so we start yelling, which makes me and my friend start ticcing and yelling, and then when we all stop and calm down the cycle just starts over again lmfao 😭
To see how she was trying to cover her tics on the train made me feel bad. I think everyone should be able to show their disorders in public without having to mask them. Though if she feels comfortable doing so, then that’s fine :)

My tics have gotten really bad recently. My mom tells me that I can't keep ticking that it's scaring people around me. I have no harmful ones just a few really loud ones. I don't have tourette's but I do have ADHD, severe anxiety and autism. Besides that you guys are all awesome.

I hope there'd be a future where disabilities are considered normal and not special or weird or the r word and when you show signs of it people are like "Oh that's fine, do you have___?" and its common knowledge so people can just live their lives unjudged

Mini story time ☕ Me and my sister both have Tourettes syndrome and once we went to the library and I was helping her with homework. She said had a tic and said “Meow, meow!” And that my tic and then we started influencing each others and we hadn’t told the librarian that we had tics… We got in trouble because the “Meows, meows!” Were pretty loud and then we told the librarian and her daughter actually suffers from Tourettes as well so she was really kind and told us just to step outside for a second! Thanks to the librarian for understanding ☺

Depends! For me, I’m not particularly aware of small tics (eg face twitching, sniffing). I don’t think I could be unaware of my bigger tics if i tried though lol

she let me do them for her half way through before it hurt me to watch😂 (i do roller figure skating) so we sorted it don’t worry, her skates were a size too big so it was never perfect :/ and yes we’ve been corrected A LOT on that as we didn’t know and had grown up always feeding ducks bread with our families 💓
