I think Sam Wilson Captain America should have been released with the wings as a deluxe pack instead of a BAF. If for some reason you can't get the entire wave, then you get stuck with an incomplete Captain America. Or you walk into a store like I did earlier and see Loki warming the peg and the BAF part is missing from the package.
The company that made the wings for the comic Sam Wilson cap is Shapeways. Here’s my ranking of the wave too: 7: Loki: not much going for it, plus idk how long he’ll be in this outfit so not too sure about it. 6: U.S. Agent: cool looking figure. Wish it was more accurate and that it came with more accessories like the custom shield he made or a bloody shield, as well as a bearded head. 5: vision: cool looking figure. Definitely happy to see this comic interpretation of him. Just wish those creamy parts of him weren’t that huge of a contrast to the white like they are in the show. 4: Zemo: looks great! Happy to add a new villain. I just wish that there wasn’t a huge contrast with the purple neck and his mask, unless it’s like that in the show. Plus, I just feel like the masked head sits too high on the neck. 3: Winter Soldier: Looks really good. Very accurate to his on screen appearance. Just wish he had more accessories. 2: Sam Wilson captain America: fantastic figure. The interpretation of him into figure form is phenomenal. I can almost find nothing different from this and how he appeared in the show. The wings, while they are a controversial BAF, they still are pretty good. However, I do wish the goggles were a little more translucent, and that the wing pack wasn’t nearly as lose as it was. Plus, maybe a piece to attach the shield to his back as opposed to getting the Walmart exclusive cap. I also kinda would like a more solid attachment for red wing as well, but it’s still a fantastic figure. 1: Scarlet Witch: fantastic job! The face looks dead on to Elizabeth Olsen, and while the accessories are minimal, it’s about as much as I expected for this figure because she doesn’t do a lot in this outfit. Like the rest of the figures (except U.S. Agent) she looks exactly like her appearance in the show. Only thing I would’ve liked a little better was if the crown sat a little bit higher. But overall, it’s an amazing figure!

I did the exact same thing. I took my 10 years Cap shield and gave it to him and he looks so much better. I've even seen someone put the shield from the Cap figures before the new photo print tech and it also looks better
From a Walmart exclusive John Walker Review, the shield he brings has the old mold to put in the hole in the back, maybe when you have it you could try with the wings
For some reason I heard some people really didn’t like this suit. One of my friends thought it looked cheap. I honestly like it when they do comic accurate designs. Like Scarlet Witch and iron man new suits
The captain America figure is decent. Disappointed he doesn’t have any other hands or headsculpts. The build a wing is very disappointing. The wings would be passable if they were included with the figure, but as far as a build a item, the fans are REALLY getting shorted in this wave. That’s the price we pay for so many face prints.

Turn the backpack upside down and plug the wings in that way. You’ll get more articulation on the wings to go upwards and can do a much better wing shield pose. :)
Cap should have just been a deluxe figure. This wave is pretty strong that I think everyone would have sold fine on their own. Loki should have just been held back and replace with Agatha/Batroc/Flagsmasher. His BAF parts easily could have been with Cap at least. Also i'm annoyed because I just need SW, Dorkside had everyone else.

The whole build a figure with the wings is such a rip off. Sam should already come with them. Hasbro found wow to introduce DLC-like profit into their toys 🙄
It would feel less so if the wings had more articulation. I didn't mind it with the Homecoming wave since Vulture's wings are huge and has those gyroscopic turbines and stuff. This kinda feels like they just added 2 'bend' joints to the falcon wings they used for Civil War and Infinity War figures.
Wanda is definitely the best figure of the wave. Sam Cap is #2...I feel they rushed it. Flight stand could have been taller for sure. Not sure if it would have required a wider base. The figure needs to g by e able to look up more. I didn’t even try to put the straps on the pack. It works okay. Next us Bucky. I like Sam and Bucky. Vision is cool. Wish it was a bit taller. Then they could have repainted in colors. To me US Agent, Zemo, and Loki are tied for last. They are okay figures. Okay not great.
I will preorder this Falcon Captain America along with the rest of the set of the wave and I will get a Steve Rogers Captain America head sculpt either from a mafex or a phicen body head that looks Chris Evans head sculpt.

You can get the whole wave for $140 + tax if you pay MSRP and find it at a place like Target or Walmart. Plus it was officially made available on the first of this month. The Hot Toys one is like $390 and won't be available until late 2022. But it really depends on how much detail you want and how you're gonna display it. Plus for the price of the Hot Toys one, you could get at least two of the Figuarts releases.
Personal opinion on the wave: man it’s a great wave BUT what I wanted was separate waves for each show instead of a mix between shows. For example instead of wanda, vision, and Loki we would get karli morgenthau, agent carter, and batroc. And for wanda vision we’d get wanda (full power) vision (white), Monica Rambo, Jimmy Woo, Darcy, pietro maximoff (ralph), and Wicken and Speed and the BAF would be Agatha. Just my opinion I would’ve liked that better instea.
Karli would have been a peg warmer unfortunately. I say this as someone who thinks the character was alright The kids from WandaVision would also be peg warmers, and technically False Quicksilver will probably get a figure anyway, except it'll be based on the actor's portrayal in the mediocre X-Men films.

I think this was a lame move by Hasbro, feels like they're literally giving an incomplete figure and you gotta buy every figure wave just so Sam could have his wings. Idk if people will agree with me or not but this is just my feelings towards it.

The Legends series doesn't really 'do' accurate heights sadly. We get 'teen' size, 'adult size, large adult, and Hulk size, with varied heights based on gender. Then there is BAF/premium size which includes larger guys like MODOK, Venompool, Apocalypse, Giant Man, Sugar Man, Surtr and Hulkbuster.
This would be a must buy for me if it came with the wings. It’s frustrating for someone like myself who isn’t a huge figure collector and doesn’t purchase whole waves. I really regret not preordering the Diamond Select.
I really like the look of him, looks really clean. Also really like this wave, definitely a solid wave. Wish we got fists and an unmasked head but is what it is. Also not a fan on how the wings aren’t super tight on there, hasbro always fails at making wings and capes cause they always fall off or slide around. l hate that hasbro hasn't introduced toe articulating to their marvel legends yet especially for dope figures like these. It would bring so much more value to the figure, at least for me it's a must finger articulation would also be a MUCH desired plus on the wishlist
Nahhh, finger articulation looks ugly and doesn’t hold objects super well. Interchangeable hands look far more natural and hold objects much better too.

It's just be a matter of money and seeing how much Hasbro recycles the same body molds we'd have to see if they'd be willing to put in toe articulation which we've seen work before they'd bother talking a gamble doing anything ground breaking.

I've replaced all the peg holes and pegs on my figures with magnets and the accessories wobble slot less and stay in place! l put magnets in all the hands for figures that came with accessories to hold so now loose grips are never a problem! Now THAT would be ground breaking if they made the effort

Honesty I get that there were no good characters to make a baf, but I still think they could have just gave one wing to falcon and one wing to bucky and it would have been so much easier. Someone pointed out it would have made a better Deluxe figure and I have to agree, because theres also the problem of not being able to find all the figures in the wave, or people stealing BAF pieces
I am going to be harsh and say that not only was this the worst BAF idea so far.. and that is sort of saying something... But the quality of those wings(not to mention articulation) looks crap... I am not saying we should go back to the sentinel or galactus level of BAF... But perhaps they should put a bit of effort in.

Great review of a sharp looking figure. I always loved the Falcon. As a kid, my favorite toy was my MEGO eight inch Falcon figure. I kind of feel like they screwed us out of a great character by making him Captain America. Steve Rogers and Captain America always seemed rather boring to me. I would love it if Hasbro gave us a comic book orange and green Falcon figure.

I bought a quantum suit cap just for the sheild for my falcon figure
I took a red permanent marker and coloured the shield bcoz it was bugging me too much. It looks a lot better but its not as shiny

In Age Of Ultron he had magnets on his hands which made everything make sense. I don't know about the other films

You can get the whole wave for $140 + tax if you pay MSRP and find it at a place like Target or Walmart. Plus it was officially made available on the first of this month. The Hot Toys one is like $390 and won't be available until late 2022. But it really depends on how much detail you want and how you're gonna display it.
Plus for the price of the Hot Toys one, you could get at least two of the Figuarts releases.
Personal opinion on the wave: man it’s a great wave BUT what I wanted was separate waves for each show instead of a mix between shows. For example instead of wanda, vision, and Loki we would get karli morgenthau, agent carter, and batroc. And for wanda vision we’d get wanda (full power) vision (white), Monica Rambo, Jimmy Woo, Darcy, pietro maximoff (ralph), and Wicken and Speed and the BAF would be Agatha. Just my opinion I would’ve liked that better instea.
Karli would have been a peg warmer unfortunately. I say this as someone who thinks the character was alright
The kids from WandaVision would also be peg warmers, and technically False Quicksilver will probably get a figure anyway, except it'll be based on the actor's portrayal in the mediocre X-Men films.

I think this was a lame move by Hasbro, feels like they're literally giving an incomplete figure and you gotta buy every figure wave just so Sam could have his wings. Idk if people will agree with me or not but this is just my feelings towards it.

@@zibranshamim3961 i know what you mean, mine has one leg longer than the other. I just replaced the head and hands with a Origins Logan (I hate that he’s dressed in regular clothes) and put the unmasked Zemo head on a New 52 Superman figure
head is perfect size, only thing is its too tall anthony m is only 5’10 and his figure should reflect that
The Legends series doesn't really 'do' accurate heights sadly. We get 'teen' size, 'adult size, large adult, and Hulk size, with varied heights based on gender. Then there is BAF/premium size which includes larger guys like MODOK, Venompool, Apocalypse, Giant Man, Sugar Man, Surtr and Hulkbuster.
That's some real sloppy paint on that head.

I really like the look of him, looks really clean. Also really like this wave, definitely a solid wave. Wish we got fists and an unmasked head but is what it is. Also not a fan on how the wings aren’t super tight on there, hasbro always fails at making wings and capes cause they always fall off or slide around. My ranking for the wave would be

finger articulation would also be a MUCH desired plus on the wishlist
Nahhh, finger articulation looks ugly and doesn’t hold objects super well. Interchangeable hands look far more natural and hold objects much better too.

It's just be a matter of money and seeing how much Hasbro recycles the same body molds we'd have to see if they'd be willing to put in toe articulation which we've seen work before they'd bother talking a gamble doing anything ground breaking.
@@bichonnation9494 Speaking of ground breaking MAGNETS. The the toybiz spiderman 2 figures were the absolute reason l still hold toybiz above Hasbro! The magnetic spiderman is unmatched. I've replaced all the peg holes and pegs on my figures with magnets and the accessories wobble slot less and stay in place! l put magnets in all the hands for figures that came with accessories to hold so now loose grips are never a problem! Now THAT would be ground breaking if they made the effort

Honesty I get that there were no good characters to make a baf, but I still think they could have just gave one wing to falcon and one wing to bucky and it would have been so much easier. Someone pointed out it would have made a better Deluxe figure and I have to agree, because theres also the problem of not being able to find all the figures in the wave, or people stealing BAF pieces

I am going to be harsh and say that not only was this the worst BAF idea so far.. and that is sort of saying something... But the quality of those wings(not to mention articulation) looks crap... I am not saying we should go back to the sentinel or galactus level of BAF... But perhaps they should put a bit of effort in.
It’s odd. I had so much trouble getting those wings fastened to back pack but plugged red wing in solid.
Funny how they have the engineering for foldable wings (DOTM Deluxe Laserbeak) but they never utilize that

Great review of a sharp looking figure. I always loved the Falcon. As a kid, my favorite toy was my MEGO eight inch Falcon figure. I kind of feel like they screwed us out of a great character by making him Captain America. Steve Rogers and Captain America always seemed rather boring to me. I would love it if Hasbro gave us a comic book orange and green Falcon figure.

Re: Captain America I guess I don’t see what his issue is with the head. I do see the issue with the BAF though, the figure should have just come with the wings and been some type of deluxe figure from the start.

4. Winter Soldier, it's more of a tie between Zemo and Bucky here, i like both figures, amazing in their own ways, but I'll go with the Winter Soldier here since he seems to be a little more easy to stand compared to Zemo I'll give it that.
3. Captain America Sam Wilson, oh man i really would had loved to put him in second place but because of the fact the wings are the BAF here i feel like it'll be incomplete if i just only get him (I've got to selective on figures due to pricing on where i live which sucks)
2. The Vision, so he's not a great figure that I'll give it that, but i somehow seem to love the majority of the white shades put onto him except for that milk cream yellow he's got in some parts, but he might be another figure I'll enjoy a lot.
