Match Day Fundamentals

Put together a quick video of one of my fundamental transition drills I use at every match .
There are a few things to remember.
1. Vision leads the way.
If your gun is the first thing you see as you come into a target, you are not leading with your vision.
2. Stop on every target.
When you transition into a target, your gun should feel like it hits a wall. If it doesn't feel like you have a solid Stop on the target, you are sweeping the target.
3. Sights stay on the spot for two shots.
It's crucial to understand that it's two shots in the same spot, not just the first one. You have to focus on not only hitting that spot on the initial transition but also keeping it there.
Most people struggle on the follow-up shot, not the first.

Great fundamentals for me to carry to the range today. I never gave it much thought about the stop and shoot two on each target and recognize that the dot should not move on the second shot on target. If something is wrong then it's the fundamentals of grip or something causing movement.. great tools for the tool bag to use Thanks again Tom You're like the Google of shooting economics lol
