hey so here's a fun fact, i was the one who gave him all the information about those stars and the graphical phenomena, i was the one who found out the graphical glitch was even related to the stars in the first place. *there is no z-axis.* the correct explanation is that the stars exist as seperate objects from the skybox and are a part of the game world, since the ps1's graphics engine lack's a *z-buffer* which is used to calculate depth and distance between objects, so all of that has to be done in software. and since those star objects are not optimised properly for it, at certain positions and in certain camera angles they appear in front of the player's camera when they shouldn't.

This was so impressive to watch on every level. Never more than 5 seconds without commentary and dude is STILL crushing it. He's not even looking at the screen 1/4 of the time.

I've watched a couple Spyro runs before, but this was my first time seeing Dayoman. He's got such great enthusiasm and energy, plus fantastic explanations of what's going on. This is the best kind of streamer to feature at GDQ. Awesome performance, awesome run, you just love to see it.

Been a big fan of GDQ for a few years now, but this guy takes the cake! Awesome game choice, sure, but the commentary is top-notch. There's been entire panels of 3+ commentators (sitting behind the runner) that couldn't match the enthusiasm and wit this guy brought while playing. Lots of fun generating lots of donations for a good cause. Great to see!
The one thing i absolutely love from this run is the casual flying through a wall.

This guy is one of the most charismatic speedrunners I've ever seen. The passion he has for this game really shows, he reminds me of one of my favorite college history teachers, what an amazing runner.
Holy shit tell you what I've watched some 120 and any percent speedruns in my time and this guy right here is the energy we need! I love how enthusiastic he is at describing everything it's so obvious how much he loves this game and it's infectious!

Man you are awesome. I don’t follow this game at all. Sometimes I’ll go on gdq Channel just to watch games I haven’t played before or would be interested in (I played Spyro a hero’s tale as a kid).
But the way you explain things and talk about techniques and the story just makes the run 50x more interesting. Normally I don’t finish a speed run video if it’s a game I’m not familiar with, but I watched the whole thing.
You are a very authentic and wholesome human being. Even the “cheesy” things you were saying were very true and good for everyone’s ears. Keep being great💯 You’re much appreciated and the world needs more people like you.

I've been playing this game for literal decades (since it came out) and my mouth didn't close for a second WOW. Runs that rely heavily on exploits are super fun but the level of SKILL in this is just. I'm speechless. Wow. And the commentary just pushed it over the top. An absolutely incredible run!
