    Great video Brian, I love Yardbook I have my grass cutting, leaf cleanups, and snow plowing in the system in mine and I click on the person and then click on what I did and that is it! I have next to me in my Dump truck I have my MacBook Pro and when I am done with them click click and done! We got a foot of snow today so I am out plowing!

    Big fan of Yardbook I get more in depth with it every season. I believe at this point the only thing I do not use is the QB sync. Very happy with the this software especially when you consider the price point it is a no brianer compared to other software out there.

    Hi Brian! I have a quick question for you on invoicing. I invoice customers same day of service and have the $3 convenience fee setup to customers that pay online. If they have 4 cuts in a month that's an extra $12 a month that they are paying due to the $3 fee. Do you invoice after each service or at the end of the month just send out one invoice that includes each service of that month? I currently use Yardbook and love it. Thanks!

      @aprilgeneric8027 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      however you stated in your contract with your customer. customers prefer once a month, but if they have the credit card option you can bill every week. if you have problems with customers not paying or paying 2-3 weeks late, you might want to move them off your roster. either they can't be bothered and you should talk to them, maybe they just are lazy and would appreciate once a month billing OR they are having trouble affording your service.
      get the credit card on file as the back up in any case.

    Do you have to invoice after every mow or can it be setup to automatic? Doesn't make sense to come home after a days mowing and have to bill everyone mowed when I could have just got a check from them when I was there. Not much time savings. What am I missing?

    The customer feature seems time consuming when people call all day for a bid. But i always mix up or miss place potential customers because i miss place their info. How do you recommend when your on the job and take a call.

    • @TopNotchLawns
      @TopNotchLawns  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What I've started doing is asking the customer to text me their information. Explain to them that you are on the job and it would be easiest if they text you their info so you have it.

    • @TopNotchLawns

    Is there any way to view the job details/services when you are out in the field and using the mobile app? When I click on jobs on the mobile app, it shows me things like the customers info, property address, date of job, and if it's billable, but it doesn't actually show me what the job is or what I'm supposed to be doing at each one. It's not necessarily an easy thing to remember what you're supposed to be doing at each house when you have 10 or more properties each day with different services being performed. Just curious if something so obviously needed was indeed implemented in Yardbook, and I'm just failing to locate it. If not, can someone recommend a good process for storing and viewing each jobs intended services? If anyone can help me with this, I would greatly appreciate it.

    • @TopNotchLawns
      @TopNotchLawns  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Whenever I book a job I use the description to say what the job is. Weekly mow, aeration, sprinkler startup, etc. I just use chrome on my phone to access yardbook.

    • @T0XICMASCULINITY
      @T0XICMASCULINITY 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TopNotchLawns Thank you for the reply. That is a great idea and how I'll do it when I'm able. There's occasional times where I cant though unfortunately. For instance, I sent a client an estimate through Yardbook yesterday for numerous line items such as Initial Cleanup, BlackBerry Removal, Tree Trimming, etc. They approved it, and I converted the estimate into a job, but when I view the job on yardbook mobile, it doesnt say any of that, only that it's a job and I have to complete it. If you view the job on the actual yardbook website, it does list those things. I was hoping I was just not seeing it, but it appears that's just how it is. Hopefully they decide to implement such an easy and useful feature in the future. You'd think that would be a no brainier necessity. Thanks again for offering help none the less, I appreciate it. This was a really good and useful video as well. Thank you for sharing.
