Thank you. I feel so lost with my MPC3000. I have the manual but I'm like a deer in the headlights! These tutorial videos are my only saving grace. Thanks man.
@ DJ ROCK CEE TV . I have 2 questions, why is it that you are using "TS quarter inch unbalanced cables" on your Stereo Outs from your MP ? I would thought that you would only use "TRS" quarter inch balance cables instead. Correct me if I am wrong , does that really matter ?
Hello. Why you have to turn volume up before you turn it down to remove sound from stereo output? Isn't the sound already upped if it's assign to stereo output?
You might wanna run a stereo sound out of stereo outs and keep your 8’s for mono sounds respectively. I have a 2000xl and use it that way. Think of ten outputs at one time. 👌🏾
@@sagcap7927 oh ok bro. Im new to all this ive been rocking the mpc 1000 which only has 4 outs which i now realize isnt enough for how i make beats lol i have the 2000 classic as well but without the 8 outs upgrade. I recently bought a 60 mk ii though so im going to be using the 8 outs on that behemoth
@@lyricalruffer6779 nice! That 60 is a beast bro. Honestly! I don’t trust any mpc that doesn’t have roger linn’s name on it 😆 but akai has made some pretty decent machines to use. Great job on your purchase.
Yo Rock Cee....I have a MPC 1000 with 4 individual outputs. For some reason cant tnem to work. I would appreciate ya help foreal foreal. DJ Big Money Mel.
Ok so followed your instruction on video and no audio sending. Is there a different process for the MPC 5000? Trying to transport individual files, already created into Pro Tools on separate tracks using the 8 assignable outs on MPC all at the same time... Please help if you can. Thanks Boss
I tried this with my 2000XL and it didn't work. I don't think that my 2000XL is working properly as no audio is sent to the individual outs only the stereo outs. Once I turn it down on the stereo outs no audio goes to the assigned outs
Also... I believe that because the filters and effects were only set up for the stereo channels. Once you started spreading out your tracks across a mix board it would be in the hands of an engineer and not like the stereo out version that the producer would hear, tweak and then bring to a studio. Stuff was way different 20+ years ago. ✊🏾
DJ ROCK-CEE ENTERTAINMENT hey thanks mate!! I was listening in the car and must have missed that. That’s a cool way of getting 10 outs! Do you always record your kick / snare etc on 2 channels (stereo)? Why not just go mono and then you could have 10 different sounds all together
Personally I do... That is the way the host of the tutorial does. And you're absolutely right. If anything... I would recommend that, and then whatever recording platform you're sending the sounds to put a stereo effect on that. Reverb, Pan, or delay... Because part of the beauty and magic of the 3000 is the ''FILTERS''. And if you're adamant about a certain sound that you're content with and don't want some engineer changing up the beautiful dirty sound of the 3000 or 60... send it through the stereo outs 2 at a time and pan them left and right. So you're doing 2 at a time. Then realign everything in your daw...👍🏾
Elliot Ramsay in the video I also explain why I sample in stereo ! You can record in mono that’s your choice!! Recommend u take time to watch the whole video. Because you ask me questions that the answer is in the video thank you mate !!!

Why exactly do you need the stereo outs connected to the mixer as well? Wouldnt you just need the 8 assignable mixouts?

Hey why do you need the stereo output from the mpc if you have all the individual ones plugged in already?
watch the from 8:42 you know why
