It’s been out of production a bit longer than I’ve been alive but I love the tone and overall vibe. Now I’m nearing the end of a campaign with about 8 other players. I’m having such an amazing time with my own Cult of the Possessed. Thanks so much for bringing more attention to this gem of a game and for the general informative and entertaining content. I’m excited for the next warband you cover!
Another source of Beastmen would be a company called RGD Gaming. They produce a trio of hard plastic kits, for Fauns (Ungor), Centaurs (Centigor), and Satyrs (Gors). The Satyr kit gives you 40(!) models per box, so you'll have no shortage of guys. Of course, there's always Frostgrave again, with their Gnoll and Snakemen kits.

I just love the lore intro of these videos, sets the mood so perfectly! Also, I love seeing how effortlessly you paint skin Leif, for me it's usually the hardest part on a mini, but this video just inspires me to try and find a way that works for me regarding this area on the model.

Yeah skin is tricky but in all earnest I think a penny that dropped for me was how I can place the first highlight over several muscles whereas the final highlights are more separate i.e. not connected. I love the fact you use the colours from the Sweetish flag, I do tat for my Wulven army. Well I don't, use the Scottish flags 🤣. They turned out great!

Hi Leif, as a kid who was fascinated with Mordheim but never took the plunge with it, and now rediscovering it as an adult, I am enjoying this series immensely. To my delight as my favourite faction in the Old World was the Lizardmen, I recently discovered Lustria. It would be beyond awesome if you did a series like this featuring the Lustria factions!

Not a warband you want to be come across while alone, between the hoods and the mutations, they are so creepy and intimidating. I like you choice of Rotten Factory minis, they have some fantastic sculpts. I've had my eye on those Accursed Cultists, theyre so freaky, whispering Mordheim. Enjoy the glamour shots and the swelling shelves of terrain. Next warband? one of the Mercenaries groups from the Empire would be nice.

Cult of the Possessed were my first minis! I never got any good play out of the Possessed themselves, and Darksouls were just cheap henchmen that didn't do much but miss and get taken out of action. The beastmen were the best unit in that warband. I think Carnival of Chaos ended up being a better Chaos warband.
Damn! That sucks Harryblischke1913! I do think that the Cult of the Possessed seems to be an extreme warband for sure. I did think about actually just having one magister and two possessed with mutations but eventually wanted to add some more heroes and beastmen! Yeah hope I will be doing the Carnival as well but want to do the core warbands first! 👍😅

Wow great job! Excellent narration, paint and all :) One note just in case : The Possessed hero doesn't have to take a mutation, only the mutants do (may vs must in their rules). Of course it makes the possessed hero cheaper and less powerful. happy gaming!

On the subject of Possessed units themselves, consider making your own with wire armatures and oven-bake clay. They don't need to look professional to look appropriately grotesque.

Once I get playing I will actually run chaos Legionnaires as the backbone of my possessed warband, with a few mix ins from other warcry warbands, feels like a great tip since those models are very available still. Is there any good groups in stockholm where I can reach out to start playing? The facebook group i found had been dead for like 3 years.

Does the tamiya model cement work well for you? I found that some of my models come apart easily when i use this. For example, the torsos of my Scarab Occult Terminators would fall off the legs quite easily. I love that it gets sticky and adheres quickly, but I've found super glue seems to be a stronger bond.
The more I watch videos about mordhiem the more I want to jump in! But I was too young to know of this game during its heyday. If anyone can tell me where I could find the rules for free(not needing to pay $200-300 for the core rules plus white dwarf magazines with extra rules for extra warbands) I would greatly appreciate it!

I did think about actually just having one magister and two possessed with mutations but eventually wanted to add some more heroes and beastmen! Yeah hope I will be doing the Carnival as well but want to do the core warbands first! 👍😅

One note just in case : The Possessed hero doesn't have to take a mutation, only the mutants do (may vs must in their rules). Of course it makes the possessed hero cheaper and less powerful. happy gaming!

On the subject of Possessed units themselves, consider making your own with wire armatures and oven-bake clay. They don't need to look professional to look appropriately grotesque.

Once I get playing I will actually run chaos Legionnaires as the backbone of my possessed warband, with a few mix ins from other warcry warbands, feels like a great tip since those models are very available still. Is there any good groups in stockholm where I can reach out to start playing? The facebook group i found had been dead for like 3 years.

Does the tamiya model cement work well for you? I found that some of my models come apart easily when i use this. For example, the torsos of my Scarab Occult Terminators would fall off the legs quite easily. I love that it gets sticky and adheres quickly, but I've found super glue seems to be a stronger bond.
When I use plastic cement on plastic models it works like a charm! I would not use them on these models though since they are made of resin! 👍😅

The more I watch videos about mordhiem the more I want to jump in! But I was too young to know of this game during its heyday. If anyone can tell me where I could find the rules for free(not needing to pay $200-300 for the core rules plus white dwarf magazines with extra rules for extra warbands) I would greatly appreciate it!
